Vettel in a club of his own now, says Webber
Mark Webber has congratulated team-mate Sebastian Vettel on an historic third World Championship title. In 2010, the Australian was contending for a first world title just like the German, who has since gone on to cement his name as a legend of the sport.
“It really is very, very special to do it three times,” Webber said after a chaotic and entertaining Brazilian Grand Prix.
“He’s in a club of his own now. Last year was quite straightforward but this year, like 2010, was more difficult. Three in a row is going some, for sure! So I congratulate him on a great effort.”
Webber’s own race ended in fourth position, having suffered two spins.
“It didn’t disappointed in terms of drama, did it?!” he laughed.
