Astro, Malaysia’s premier Direct to Home satellite multi-channel TV operator and MY FM, the country’s top Chinese-language radio station, will join forces to co-organize the 2nd MY Astro Music Awards, to be held on the 26th March 2011 at 8 p.m. The Awards ceremony will be broadcasted live from Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands on TV – Astro AEC (Channel 301) and radio – MY FM simultaneously .
Proudly sponsored by Canon, the 2nd MY Astro Music Awards is themed “More Music More Live”. Not only outstanding Malaysian and international music and talents will be given acknowledgement at the event, the collaboration of TV and radio would also mean total exposure for all the talents involved. It is a recognition moment for these talents’ hard work and effort.
Recipients of the Awards are based on issues 45 to 101 of the MY Astro Chart Show. All songs and artists listed on the chart within this period stand a chance to receive the Awards. The radio version of MY Astro Chart Show is currently aired on MY FM at 10 a.m. every Saturday whilst TV Astro AEC (Channel 301) at 5 p.m. every Saturday. The MY Astro Chart show features 20 of the latest and most popular local and international Chinese songs. Hosts of the Chart Show for both the television and radio make professional reviews and recommend four selected best songs weekly.
Jack Lim and Wan Wai Fun of MY Astro Chart Show (radio); Royce Tan and Bernard Hiew of MY Astro Chart Show (TV) will also host the award show respectively.

• Best Ballad
• Best Dance Song
• Best Popularity Singer
• Best Group/ Band

The fact that Wu Chun is going solo is now official.
Wu Chun has decided not to renew his contract with HIM Records. Thefirst thing he worked on after going solo is his own official fan club "Chun Zone International Fan Club,"which was opened last month. The first fans meeting was held yesterdayand 300 fans from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and evenJapan and Korea came.
Although now going solo, but the 31-year-old said he will still attendto events and endorse with Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang, and Aaron Yan asFahrenheit together. He will focus on films this year and has no plansto release an album.
People are curious about his love life, and the actor expressed hehasn't date since he was 16. He doesn't really want to makerelationship public.
"I don't want my partner to be in any trouble," he said. "Of course Iwant to share with everyone, but still have to look at the situation."
