With David, 36 , occupied by matters on the pitch and their 37-year-old mother in New York, the trio needed no supervision - or encouragement, for that matter - to engage in a heartwarming show of respect for the victims of 9/11 during a one minute silence.
Only Brooklyn, 12 , had been born on that terrible day, with Romeo, 9 , and Cruz, 6 , soon to follow him, but even the eldest Beckham progeny, still living in England at that stage, was surely too young to comprehend the ramifications of those planes crashing into the Twin Towers. |
