on= atas, onto= ke atas...beza onto ni ada pergerakan...on ni statik/setempat biasanya...

the book is on the table

put the book onto the table

into pun cam tu gak...= ke dalam.. ada movement...

the water is in the cup

pour the water into the cup

at ni...tempat pun boleh masa pun boleh...

i was at home at 5 p.m yesterday

...nanti add more...

tengok konteks ayat, baru boleh tahu makna,

get on with it= mulakan/laksanakan      turn on : tergoda/bernafsu
depends on=bergantung       based on= berasaskan
bring it on = bawa/ sebabkan    come on = ayuh/moh/jom
later on = kemudian    go on=teruskan

ni namanya MODAL atau AUXILLIARY VERBS...

may = mungkin(sesuatu tak pasti)

I may die tomorrow.

can= boleh(mampu)
could= past tense can..

I can die today.
I could die yesterday.

these is plural for this..

e.g these are your books.
     this is your book.

cam those plural for that...

had past tense for has

e.g today i has two books. yesterday i had one book only.

past participle menggunakan had or has

e.g I had opened your book.
     She has opened your book yesterday.

biasanya, when you used 'had', the time is usually not stated..'Has' had the time stated.
