td tgk result insulin... utk yg ada pcos mmg kena buat ujian insulin ni
mel pny 10... (range below 11) ... nurse ckp xperlu mkn ubat
tp mel puny result insulin thn 2008 bacaan dia 6 ke 7 jer....
nurse tu kata umur mempengaruhi.. makin kertu makin tggila bacaan dia huhu

ubt ni mungkin utk pre- ivf la kot ...

Tamoxifen and Ovulation Induction
Tamoxifen is an anti-oestrogen and it is generally considered to increase fertility rates in a similar way to clomiphene.
In contrast to clomiphene, however, tamoxifen does not increase follicular phase FSH and LH levels, although there is an increase in oestradiol levels and luteal phase progesterone. It has, therefore, been postulated that tamoxifen improves follicular development by direct action on the ovary rather than through the hypothalamic-pituitary axis (menstrual cycles).
We usually start with 20mg daily from the second to the sixth day and build up to a maximum of 80mg.
When used for short periods, tamoxifen does not appear to be associated with any increased risk of either ovarian or endometrial malignancy.

Early studies indicated similar success rates between tamoxifen and clomiphene. In one series of 66 anovulatory patients, both drugs achieved pregnancy rates of 80% within nine months.
When clomiphene fails to achieve ovulation or pregnancy, tamoxifen may prove to be effective and vice versa.
Some authorities have recommended tamoxifen as their first choice for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The argument has been that PCOS is associated with relatively high levels of LH and this seems to reduce the chance of conception and increase the chance of miscarriage. Unlike clomiphene , tamoxifen does not further increase LH levels. Metformin may supersede tamoxifen and clomiphene as the first choice agent in PCOS (12).

kl cycle tu x jd... better rest dulu dlm sebulan n then baru start balik
dia ckp bagi minda n badan kita rest dulu sebelum mulakan cycle baru

    Hmm I tak terfikir lak 2 Kali period tu sama mcm tempoh pantang coz I tak plan nak pantang selama tu hehe. Kalau ikutkan dr surinder, tak payah tunggu dua Kali period. Lepas Next period dah boleh jumpa dia utk FET (now i bukan period, tapi bleeding coz of miscarriage. Nifas ke?). FET ni boleh dibuat coinciding with our natural ovulation, so tak byk pakai ubat.

Nurse TMC kata I can go back when I'm ready physically and emotionally. I agree wholeheartedly.

I read somewhere yg we're very fertile after the first period after miscarriage. That's why I'm considering the option to do FET early. Lagipun surely dr Akan assess my condition first bila I jumpa dia nanti. Kalau my body belum ready, he will tell me to wait.

I Ada baca juga pasal org buat IUI every cycle. I tak tau lah whether it's good or bad. But if it involves injections, I rasa tak sanggup nak buat dua cycle berturut2. Even clomid pun Ada threshold nya, sbb ia boleh menipiskan rahim. With IUI you have to repeat the whole process, whereas for IVF kalau dah Ada frozen embies, more than half of the job is already done.

tak pernah makan tamoxifen, but pernah makan metformin. wonder lepas buat ovarian drilling kena makan lagik tak metformin nih? dulu Dr. Menon cakap metformin tak jalan for severe PCOS cases, tapi kalo dah buat OD boleh ker help?... hmmm... baru terpikir pasal metformin nih balik, luper kejap lepas OD...

    tu yg i bacer jugak... buat 3-4 cycles berturut.

tapi yg tang rest tuh betul jugak... sebab mmg stressful buat fertility treatments nih... the important part is jangan give up!!

i dok sini jadik student... belajar proses nak buat IVF nih... kalo it comes to that nanti, takder lah lost sangat...

Ziara, omg i'm so sad too...bersedih-bersedih jugak, tapi kene kuatkan semangat kan ziara. samalah kita ziara. Of cos memang sedih. Kalau teringat memang rasa nak nangis. So terpaksa sibukkan diri dengan ape-apelah.

Yup shin pun maybe nak buat nov/dec sebab nak baby lahir after raya kot senang sekaligus balik Miri masa raya terus deliver. Hope FET nanti menjadik and selamat sampai deliver. Eh betul ke FET RM8k camtu kat TMC? erkkk mahal nyeeeee....dahlah dah berabis duit untuk first cycle nih....

Ziara, shin haritu pantang dalam seminggu je. Takdelah lama sangat pun. And shin skang dah period balik. First day puasa terus kene period. Baru je ingat nak puasa and ibadah lebih skit...huhuhu terus period. Tapi takdelah banyak sangat macam my normal period sebelum ni. Actually terkejut gak period keluar cepat. Ingatkan end of month baru period datang balik...

dia kata kesan makan metformin ni sama jer dgn buat OD
pastu dia ckp buat apa nak buat OD kl kesan dia sama

dia ckp unless telur u dh x respond  ngan ubt br bleh buat
then ada 1 cycle tu telur mel mmg x develop ngan elok
mel pon mintak nk buat OD then doc proceed la...


lg satu badan mel x tolerate la ngan metformin nih
masa mel mkn dulu mel muntah setiap hari
lebih 4x sari... badan jd lembik cam nk pitam
gula dalam darah jadi 2.5 n bp jd high
so mel mmg stop mkn metformin
doc pon kata xpayah la mkn hehe

    Shin, I ni mcm ikut jejak langkah Shin je kan all the way huhu. Dari sessi injection lagi..

I pun nak sibukkan diri sbb tak nak fikir benda2 sedih, tapi kena hold on kejap coz my hubby tak bagi I drive lagi. Lagipun baru hari ni bleeding I lancar, so now rasa cramp sikit kat perut ni. For the past 2 days ia tersekat2, tak stain pad pun. May be masa tu pregnancy hormone tinggi lagi

Biar betul Shin dah period? Cepatnya! Berapa lama gap dgn miscarriage? So dah boleh start trying again ke???

Pasal kos FET tu, nak kena check semula. Mcm tak logic 8k kan. Tapi rasanya I baca kat thread ni juga, Ada yg dah buat FET bayar 8k.. Atau may be dia buat extra procedure kot?
