Job Descriptions:
1. The Senior Writer/Editor is responsible for strategic planning, editorial direction and production of
Asian Trucker’s magazine.
2. Performs day-to-day editorial functions relating to the magazine’s content, copy-editing, proofreading,
writing articles, headlines and captions.
3. To cover news and events when needed, established an interaction with readers, suppliers and
advertisers to grow a relationship for the business.
4. Chairs regular issue planning and review meetings.
5. To meet the deadlines and objectives while working as a team player.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
The ideal candidate:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to communicate well with readers,
clients and other members of our team.
2. Excellence in time management skills is required, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects
simultaneously.
3. Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing.
4. Must have a creative mindset, highly organized, detail oriented and deadline driven.
5. Some travelling is required.
6. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in writing, editing, soliciting
content and news gathering for an established business-to-business magazine.
7. Traditional Chinese writing skills will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
