Title:                        Facilities Technician – Building Services
Report to:                Facilities Engineering – Building Services
Job description:        To assure that the building conditions are at optimal condition and are properly maintained thru predictive, preventive, and condition based maintenance .

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1.        Attends to daily facilities operations.
2.        General repairs to building and to attend ad-hoc work as and when required.
3.        Work with a team of maintenance crew to facilitate machinery and equipment repair promptly as to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
4.        Assist in managing in-house Operation Contractors / Outsource Service Providers for housekeeping, landscaping, building maintenance, contractor work administration and other relevant discipline.
5.        Conducts daily inspection of plant facilities, such as, housekeeping, landscaping, perimeter roads, main building and Utility building, pest control, hygiene services, normal waste, food waste and recycle waste management to be carry out in a safety manner and comply to SOP.
6.        Manage inventory/parts/materials for general building maintenance, housekeeping and landscaping.
7.        Maintain and improve internal customer satisfaction by constantly monitoring performance, developing improvement plans and response to immediate needs.
8.        To support plant Infrastructure Master Plan project and expansion project.
9.        To drive for cost reduction and process improvement programs/opportunities.
10.        Liaise with local Authority like BOMBA, DOSH, DOE, to ensure all standard regulations are followed.
11.        Oversees building equipment preventive maintenance procedure, equipments operating specifications, operations forms/log sheets, tool lockdowns.
12.        Perform other tasks and duties as delegated by manager/supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements:
1.        Candidate must possess Diploma or Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building Services or equivalent.
2.        Approximately 3~5 years working experience in Building Services in Wafer Fab/ Semiconductor/ Cleanroom environment or related industries, with specific work experience in hands-on maintenance.
3.        Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4.        Able to communicate effectively in written & spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
5.        With good understanding on the principles and equipment functions, mechanical troubleshooting, understanding on basic electrical and electronic system troubleshooting.
6.        Knowledge in ISO14001 and ISO18001 is a plus.
7.        Knowledgeable in SPC Tools.
