The market seems to regain its strength... for whatever mysterious reasons. With an absent of any bad news by the last hour on Wednesday, I'd say, watch for any sign of breakout with good volumes in the counters you watch. The opportunity may be there....

Happy long holiday... and don't do things I won't...

Remember when you enter the market for the first time, after went through some seminars or reading books or learn from a friend; you made a vow that you will be patience, and you will only enter the market when the opportunity is there? And the same vow you made every time you being knocked out with substantial amount of capital wiped out from your trust account... you made the same vow that you will be patience, and you will only enter the market when the opportunity is *really* there?

Now is the time to keep that vow....

Is that the bull everyone was looking for since the before CNY? Yes? Are you sure? Are you sure it was not a goat? Y'know, in the dark and all... anyone can mistake KLCC with a rubber tree...

Well... a strong closing on Friday usually leads to a strong opening on Monday on lack of negative news. Strong opening with some profit taking activity during the amateur hour will provide a good bargain later the day if the market continue to hold the ground.

So, do a little bit more reasearch this weekend on top of what you did last week. Get ready into the position you have waited patiencely for quite a while... However, it it is indeed a GOAT, kill it for me... please!

Watch the amateur hour closely. If the market is well supported through-out the amateur hour, take position to enter during the final hour. Look for counters that shows strong support. Strength beget strength.

If the market collapse by the profit taking activities, and can't stand the chance of holding through the weekend (and those who believe in the jinx of Friday the 13th), better take a wait-and-see position.

Due to the uncertainties till the time of the closing bell, compounded by the risk of holding any position over the weekend, I choose not to enter the market on Friday.

For those who did the same, it'd be worth it to redo your research as the market had changed a lot since last week. Again, look at how the market plays during the amateur hour.

To have a well supported market, Buyers should be more than Sellers, as such you won't see any those ugly nose-dives...

Yup, this time, the bull seems to be stronger. Follow-through the pace of bullishness during the morning session. Watch the volume, and the direction of the market in relation to the strength (or weakness) of the volume traded. By afternoon, we should be pretty sure whether this round is for real, or another case of "big balloon, air only..."

Last night, Ali, Ah Chong & Ramasamy went home after work, make a cup of coffee, sat in front of the TV, turn it on, and saw the news of CI went up with such a strong volume.... What do you think they'll do this morning? They'll place the buy order.... after anticipating that for few days...

Let the Amateur Hour passed, monitor the market situation and place your Buy. For myself, I usually take extra precautions by watching the morning session during lunch, and strategize my position during the afternoon session.... But that's just me...

Dive!

Happy trading!!

The market seems to begin to slow down to consolidate. This is good. If the profit takers does not overcrowding the market, we will see a good support on leading counters, while the laggings play the catch-up game.

If you already make profit, secure it by moving up the Stoploss level to 1 or 2 ticks below the Support level on the 5-minutes chart...

Happy Trading!

Market seems to continue strongly upward despite cautions of being overbought. Should this is a play of fresh investors, then I believe that the overbought condition is expected. There is no way for regular market player can move the market that high with such volume. What one should be aware of is if massive profit taking is undergone...

Is this the beginning of the end? Or is this the return to yourself, the return to innocence.....

As one should expect, market will never go to the moon and NOT come back. But what we need to expect of ourselves is to use a good judgement should the market make a pullback.... How long will this sideway last? Just watch the market with one eye, and the Stoploss with the other...

The pullback yesterday (Wednesday) reminds me of something.... of the fact that when the market shows a tiny-winy bit of weakness, everyone run towards the exit door... I mean EVERYONE, well... except the blinds and the deafs laa...

That tells me how vunerable the market is...

Bullish the market is now, but don't feel too comfortable. Get ready to jump to your nearest lifeboat should there is any sign of trouble with this ship...

Get ready for a retracement, as there is a higher possibility of that to happend compared to the market to continue north. The best way is to raise your stoploss to a more comfortable level as to protect whatever profit you already register, while keeping you in the game should the less-likely is the one to happend.

Next week, the battle between the profit-takers acting as a powerful bear versus the late bulls will determine the direction of the market. At best, a consolidation at the range of 4~5 days with relatively low volume will be good to cool down the heat.

Do you really have any reason to hold to your positions? If you do, re-access your stoploss level. If the position you hold had march against the tide, enjoy it. If you don't have any reason to hold to your position, it doesn't hurt to take profit. In fact, if market were to resume bullish, there are enough counters that had shown some reaction that you can enter a fresh position safely.

Plan your trade, and trade your plan.

The market seems to continue on its way north.

What are you going to do? Have you been stopped out yet? No? Then hang to it. There seems to be some more space on the upper side. Yes? Good profit? Perhaps you want to look for new opportunity.

For myself, I'm not rushing for that, tho'... What are the signs I'm looking for for a fresh entrence? Breakouts... which something majority counters were unable to do this past couple of days...

When the market rippled over a few days like what we have now, the cycle of the optimists and the pessimists roll in and out like tide. A ripple will eventually fade. Would it better for us to join the band of the optimistics and pessimistics? I guess, not unless we are day-traders or scalpers...

I'm now clean, no position, waiting on the side-line.... eating kuaci again...
