maaf maksud saya timnas hoki wanita.
Itupun Singapore dah mula improve utk skuad hoki wanita remaja..
Dgn idea baru daripada jurulatih baru, coach Nasihin, skuad hoki wanita negara mula mendadak naik.

Monday, February 18, 2013Malaysian women beat Russia 3-1..
THE Malaysian women’s hockey team started Round Two of the World League in style when they beat Russia 3-1 in New Delhi, India, yesterday.
The women, ranked 22nd in the world, beat a 20th ranked team comprehensively, and the score-line could have been much higher if not for the missed sitters.
Siti Rahmah Othman scored the opening goal off a penalty corner attempt in the ninth minute, while Noor Hasliza Ali made it 2-0 off a field attempt in the 42nd minute.
Russia narrowed the gap off a Zhashkova Alexandra penalty corner in the 58th minute, but a 64th minute field attempt from Sylvester Silin Fazilla doused their come-back plans.
Their next match, against India today, is expected to be a cracker with the winner moving closer to the Third Round tournament. The other teams in Malaysia’s group are Kazakhstan, Fiji and Japan.
In the other match of the day, Japan beat Fiji 14-0.
“We relied on counter attacks for this win, as we only earned one penalty corner and made it count. However, our goalkeeper Ayuni (Farah Ayuni Yahya) who was in top flight, was injured in the last three minutes of the match and it looks pretty bad me.
“Hopefully it is not too serious, and she can play tomorrow (today) against India because I expect it to be a tough encounter, but confident my players will deliver full points,” said women’s coach Nasihin Nubli.

Kalau stakat sukan SEA, hari tu Ketua Pengarah MSN ada bagi proposal supaya hantar team simpanan skuad remaja + bebrapa pemain yg tidak terpilih..
Pendek kata hantar pemain gred C atau gred D utk sukan SEA.. |

Hero Hockey World League Round 2 – women's day one round-up Russia – Malaysia 1-3 (half-time: 0-1)
Malaysia produced a slight upset to the world rankings as they withstood plenty of Russian pressure in what could be a key result come the end of the tournament. Siti Rahmah Othman put the 22nd ranked side in front in the ninth minute from a neat penalty corner deflection but here side rode their luck thereafter. Ekaterina Shaburova’s penalty stroke flashed wide five minutes into the second half and Russia were rocked from the next attack when Noor Hasliza Mohamad Din chipped in. Tamara Ivanova’s corner goal gave Russia hope 12 minutes from time but, on the counter attack, Fazilla Sylvester Silin pounced for an insurance goal.

Hero Hockey World League Round 2 2013 – day two round-up India – Malaysia 3-0 (half-time: 1-0)
India’s cutting edge helped them see off Malaysia in the key game of day two of the Hero Hockey World League Round Two 2013 in Delhi, moving into a share of top spot with Japan. Vandana Katariya gave India the lead in just the eighth minutes into the tie when she got a great touch in front of the goalkeeper and post-woman to ramp up Joydeep Kaur’s swept penalty corner. Her side enjoyed the better of possession and territory from there but it was Malaysia who created the clearer openings.
Nor Azlin Sumantri broke free from the halfway to go one-on-one with Yogita Bali but the goalkeeper did not fall for her dummy and the striker slipped the ball wide. A sliding Nurul Nabihah Mansor could not redirect a first time shot on target while Sumantri was clean through again only for the half time hooter to end her run forward. India, by contrast, were more clinical. They conceded a corner 50 seconds into the second half but Bali saved well, helping to launch a swift counter-attack which ended with Anupa Barla laying on a perfectly weighted pass for player of the match Katariya to dive onto, artfully chipping over the grounded Farah Ayuni Yahya. Another corner effort was deflected into side-netting, many of the crowd deceived by the ripple of the net, believing it to be 3-0.
Again, Malaysia had a clear sight of goal when Rabiatil Adawiyah Mohamed was left unmarked but Bali saved and Fazilla Sylvester Silin fizzed across the face of goal with the follow-up. But, again, India made their pressure tell when Rani rounded on a chance six yards out and duly smashed home.

Walaupun tewas, aku ucapkan tahniah kerana kekentalan skuad hoki wanita negara, India terpaksa bermain dgn sepenuh hati dan full force utk menewaskan skuad hoki wanita negara..
