Olympic badminton player Lee Yong Dae dating rookie actress Han Soo Hyun
Olympic badminton player Lee Yong Dae has been revealed to be dating rookie actress Han Soo Hyun. Lee Yong Dae had become popular at the 2008 Beijing Olympics during the badminton mixed doubles. He and his partner defeated the competition to earn the gold medal in the event, and in joy he ran to the camera, pointed and winked at it. Koreans noticed immediately that he held a resemblance to Lee Seung Gi, something even Lee Seung Gi admitted to. After the 2012 London Olympics, Lee Yong Dae was invited onto ‘Healing Camp‘, where he deniedhaving a girlfriend during the 2008 Olympics and talked about his ideal type. However, on the 8th, photos of Lee Yong Dae posing intimately with a woman were released online. Lee Yong Dae had previously said, “My girlfriend is a plain student that’s one year younger than me. She attends Dongduk Women’s College.” However, it has been since revealed that his girlfriend is actually rookie actress Han Soo Hyun, who is signed under the same label as Shin Hyun Joon. She has already filmed a drama for channel MBN as a high school student who commits suicide because of her grades. The drama will be airing on November 15th. The representative of the drama said, “It is true that Han Soo Hyun acted in this drama, and she is a rookie in the same label as Shin Hyun Joon. We did not know she was Lee Yong Dae’s girlfriend.” It was first rumored that Han Soo Hyun had accidentally made the photos public through Facebook, but was later revealed that a third party had spread them. Lee Yong Dae has been working with the police to investigate the matter. On the 9th, he revealed, “The person who first released the photos I took with my girlfriend called and asked for forgiveness. He turned himself into the Seoul Seocho Police Station for further investigation.” According to Lee Yong Dae, the photos had been provided to an artist because Lee Yong Dae wanted to keep the memories of him and his girlfriend. The photos were released because the artist’s ex-girlfriend saw the photos in the artist’s email. Lee Yong Dae said, “I requested 7 drawings, and the artist’s ex-girlfriend uploaded 2 of the most intimate photos on the Internet. I believe she had malicious intent. I was so angry that I was going to come on strong, but the initial spreader asked for kindness because she said she was getting married. I honestly don’t know what to do now.”

Olympian's girlfriend an actress
Just one day after pictures of Olympian badminton player Lee Yong-dae and a mystery woman surfaced online, the bikini-clad woman who was captured in a passionate kiss with Lee was revealed to be an aspiring entertainer.
Lee's girlfriend is none other than newbie actor Han Soo-hyun, whose real name is Byun Soo-mi. She is set to make her big screen debut in "Natural Burial - Movie" on Thursday.
Han, 23, is said to be a year younger than her beau and currently studying at Dongduk Women's University.
Apparently, she belongs to the same agency as actor Shin Hyeon-joon and was an extra on Shin's previous drama "Bridal Mask".
Since the revelation, Lee has come forward to affirm that the two are together, although he declared himself single as recently as last month.
"I didn't want to make it public so that she could live a normal life", explained the 24-year-old Olympian in regards to the picture that made its way round the net on Thursday.
