Defending Super League champions, Kelantan have had a less than convincing start to the new season to say the least. Their record stands at 2 losses (including their Charity Shield defeat to ATM) and 1 win for the new look Red Warriors.
The Red Warriors hold a formidable unbeaten home record which stands untouched since their treble winning season last year. Former Perak chief striker, Keita Mandjou has the unfortunate task of replacing the effective Lebanese striker, Mohamed Ghaddar as the focal point of Kelantan's attack.
So far, he has yet to convince the fans that he is up to the task and he will be eager to impress against a star-studded Darul Takzim.
Fandi Ahmad on the other hand lambasted his players for failing to get their ego in check after a less than convincing win over nine men Perak last week. That was a much needed wake-up call for his charges who though have been brilliant offensively, showed an apparent lack of cohesion defensively so far.
This tie also represents an interesting return for former Red Warrior, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha who was embroiled in a long running transfer saga with his former employers involving his so called "debts" to Kelantan Supremo, Tan Sri Annuar Musa and his release to Darul Takzim.
The match is set for an 8.45pm kick-off, at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Bharu.

Kelantan never lost a single match in all competitions at home in 2012.

Keita Mandjou was a captain of Guinea's Under 23 squad.

Their defender, Obinna's name means "Father's heart" in Nigerian language.

Johor Darul Takzim's last silverware was in the year 2001; the Malaysian Premier League.

Their custodian, Zamir Selamat was a part of Kuala Lumpur's President Cup squad.

They are the first Malaysian team to introduce season tickets.

Fans Darul Takzim predict mereka akan menang 8-0..ok bagiku la match ni samada draw atau kelantan menang 1-0, tak pun 2-1 harap Kelantan menang la..

Harap Bojan dengarlah keluhan penyokong kelantan yg tak mau si Keita tu..cuba la gandingkan haris safwan ngan Farhan atau Aris Zaidi pemain muda..dah alang2 nak cuba pemain kan
