[Falsafah] Hypnosis- Hypnotherapy

The general public will normally has a wrong perception about hypnosis. They are worried if they will reveal their secrets to the Hypnotherapist, which the secret has to stay hidden, until this may due to the lack of understanding about hypnosis. In order to better understand what is hypnosis, it’s also easier to explain what hypnosis is not.
1. Hypnosis is not sleep: In fact, you are even more alert about your surrounding when you are hypnotized.
2. Loss of consciousness: since hypnosis is not sleep, so you are still conscious during  your hypnosis session.
3. Surrender of will: the hypnotherapist can’t go against your will if you reject their suggestion/instruction. For example: you won’t reveal your ATM card password to the hypnotherapist even if you are in deep trance.
4. Pleasure if you follow and pain if you reject: during hypnosis session, you are still in charge of your own will completely.
5. I can’t come back to the reality: the “worst” thing that can happen to you during a hypnosis session is, you will fall into a natural, sound sleep.

In a nutshell, hypnosis is a state of heightened awareness and deep relaxation for the body.

So, What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an altered state of mind. It’s an educational communication process that allows a person’s conscious and subconscious mind to believe in the same message.

During hypnosis, the body and conscious mind are in a relaxed neutral state while the subconscious mind remains awake and receptive to suggestions. In this state, the person will suspend the critical judgment and exercises selective thinking.

Hypnosis is a bridge to the subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind is the seat of the emotions, imagination, memories, habits and also intuition. It also regulates or autonomic body functions, it is the part of the mind that dreams, and is the pathway to the super-conscious. It is the very essence and core of how we experience ourselves and the world.
In other definition, hypnosis is a natural and yet altered state of mind, in which the critical faculty is relaxed and selective thinking is established.

By the way, do you know you have an unconscious mind?

Hypnosis/ hypnotherapy byk digunakan kpd org di rehab. Ia boleh menukar mind set....

Ada juga org guna utk soal siasat contohnya....seorg ni ditangkap polis sbb kesalahan mencuri walaupun sebenarnya bukan dia yg mencuri. Tp polis soal byk2, suruh mengaku.....akhirnya fikiran jd confuse. Dan akhirnya dia mengaku mencuri....

Sebenarnya dlm kehidupan kita selalu berlaku hypnosis tanpa kita sedar dan di luar kawalan kita. Contohnya iklan/advertisement di media dan org sekeliling kita, kata-kata ibu bapa, guru2, politicians, kawan. Ia seperti injection ataupun benih/biji yg ditanam ke dlm fikiran kita.

Kadang2 kita pun mudah terpesona dgn penilaian-penilaian masyarakat. Biasalah kan...minda nak berkembang, nak  dipengaruhi dan mempengaruhi. Dan disebabkan mudah terikut2, leka dgn fikiran2...maka kebahagiaan susah ditemui. Kalau gembira pun cuma sekejap sahaja sbb manusia tidak pernah puas, suka ambil cabaran kerana bila berjaya mengatasi cabaran, ia umpama mencapai suatu kejayaan. Kejayaan adalah penilaian semata2, dalam kata lain sesuatu yang dicipta oleh fikiran.

Walaubagaimanapun, semuanya itu bagus, tiada salah apa2...cuma jadilah diri sendiri, jadi yg asli, be authentic.
