Wedding plans turn to tragedy

KANGAR: Noritta Samsudin returned home for Hari Raya and broke the happy news to her family that she would marry next year.
But a week later, her family was shocked to hear that she had been murdered in her rented condominium at Puncak Prima Galleria, Desa Sri Hartamas, in Kuala Lumpur.
Her father Samsudin Ahmad, 55, and mother Norlaila Bahari, 45, said yesterday their daughter had planned to marry her boyfriend, an Australian-Chinese, in his 30s.
Her sister Suhaily, 29, said Noritta's boyfriend, known as Kean, worked in an IT company in Kuala Lumpur.
Noritta, 22, an account executive with a construction company in Kuala Lumpur, was found strangled with her legs and hands bound with a bra and wires on Friday.
Her housemates who returned at 4am found her naked body with her mouth gagged with a piece of cloth.
There were no signs of a break-in and police believed that Noritta knew the killer.
No valuables or cash were missing from her condominium.
On Friday, Noritta's body was laid to rest at the Kampung Surau Muslim cemetery in Utan Aji.
Samsudin said the last time he saw his daughter was when she came to the family house in Pokok Sena, Kedah, to celebrate Hari Raya.
He said his daughter who had always looked after her weight ate a lot and even cooked for the family.
“I noticed that she looked a bit chubby and asked her about it and she replied that it was good, as people who see her will be afraid (Baguslah, Kalau orang tengok takut sikit),” he said.
Samsudin said his daughter also visited all her relatives during the few days of Hari Raya which she never did before.
He said she even dragged the other family members to follow her to visit her relatives.
“For me it was good that my daughter wanted to know her relatives. Little did I realise that the visits were the last she will ever make,” he said.
Norlaila said she found it peculiar that her daughter had bought a white dress and white shoes for Hari Raya.
She said Noritta had wanted to wear them on the first day of Hari Raya when they took a family photograph at a photo studio in Alor Star.
She said it was the first time Noritta, who always wanted to wear beautiful clothes, had a white Raya dress.
“However, I asked her not to wear the white dress so she wore her blue one for the family photo,” she said.
Norlaila said her daughter who was the third among five siblings was active in sports during her school days.
She said Noritta also loved to pose for photographs since she was young but never aspired to become a model.
“Noritta always wanted to look her best. She even bought a lot of make-up for it,” she said, adding that her daughter graduated in Accountancy from UiTM in Arau, Perlis, before working in Kuala Lumpur three years ago and had worked as a part-time model.
Norlaila said she last saw Noritta four days ago as both of them had accompanied Suhaily to Singapore, where the latter attended a training course, and they spent three days there.
In Kuala Lumpur, BEH YUEN HUI reports that the post-mortem on Noritta revealed that she had sex before she died.
However, police have yet to ascertain whether she had consensual sex or she had been raped.
Brickfields deputy OCPD Supt Mohd Kuzi Minai said they had recorded statements from her two housemates.
He said police believed Noritta's boyfriend and several of her close friends could shed light into the investigations.
City CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Kamaruddin Mat Desa said police did not rule out the possibility that revenge and jealousy could be the motive of the murder.

Arwah kan lawa orgnya, kenal pula ramai lelaki, mesti ada yg jatuh hati kat dia..
Dapat tau lak dia nak kawin..

ayah arwah dah meninggal ke.
kesian dulu dia cakap..kalau nak tau citer pasal anak dia ni, dia baca paper kat kebun sorg2 pastu nangis.
bagusnya ayah arwah ni tak salahkan sesape pon. dia tetap anggap arwah anak yg baik..dan sempat nasihatkan kat mak pak lain, kalau ada anak duduk berjauhan..amik peduli lah hal mereka anak2.

Ya, ayah arwah meninggal tahun 2007 kalau tak silap..
Arwah noritta meninggal tahun 2003...
Sebab masa dok ikuti gak la kes arwah dulu, Mak Ayah arwah mcm tak ambik port pun / mcm tak ambik kisah pun even diaorg tau arwah menyewa dengan azora & kenneth...
Sebagai Mak Ayah kena la alert kan, anak dok dengan sapa kat kl sana nun.. |

Ya, ayah arwah meninggal tahun 2007 kalau tak silap..
Arwah noritta meninggal tahun 2003...
...
dia mmg tau..tapi rasanya mcm tak terfikir sampai tahap situ perangai anknya..
atau dia tau..tapi diyakinkan anknya yg semua ok je. wallahualam. |
