Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition Debuting at LA
Unveiled just a couple of weeks ago, the stunning 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition is set to have its world debut at the upcoming L.A. Auto Show 2013.
While a special edition sports car is nothing new, what’s of real interest is the price of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition. Whereas the standard Aston Martin Vanquish Volante will set you back a minimum of $297,995 in the United States, if you want the Neiman Marcus edition you better be prepared to cough up $344,500.
Each Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition will be dressed in Seychelles Blue paint and outfitted with a unique blue removable soft-top, blue brake calipers and sterling silver and flux enamel badges. Completing the exterior changes to the Neiman Marcus are a set of 20-spoke lightweight alloy wheels.
Moving to the inside, the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition features Aurura Blue contrasting stitching as well as quilted door inserts.
Despite the hefty price hike over the standard Vanquish Volante, the Neiman Marcus features an unmodified engine. That means it mains the standard car’s 6.0-liter V12 engine developing 573hp and 457lb-ft of torque. Mated to a slick six-speed Touchtronic II semi-automatic transmission, the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Neiman Marcus Edition can sprint to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 294km/h. Just 10 units of the Volante Neiman Marcus Edition will be made.
