René-Théophile-Hyacinthe Laënnec, (born Feb. 17, 1781, Quimper, Brittany, France—died Aug. 13, 1826, Kerlouanec), French physician who invented the stethoscope and perfected the art of auditory examination of the chest cavity.

yang rene guna bukan sama macam yg stethoscope kita guna sekarang but the idea is the same..
