Perodua Axia dibuka untuk tempahan esok

M’sia’s first EEV, Perodua Axia opens for booking Friday

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14: Axia, Malaysia’s first energy-efficient vehicle (EEV) – with a tentative starting price of RM24,900 (for Peninsular Malaysia) – will be open for booking at all Perodua sales outlets from tomorrow, Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) said.

In a statement, Perodua said the latest model is its most fuel efficient car that could travel up to 21.6 kilometers per litre, spacious, packed with unique Malaysian features, and boasted an overall low-cost ownership.

Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the deal is the all-in-one package for every Malaysian.

“The car will not only be able to fit four travel bags as it has a 260-litre boot capacity but also very flexible to ensure maximum comfort and usage,” Aminar said.

Slated to be launched soon, the Axia is Perodua’s 10th model produced via Perodua’s modern and ecologically-friendlier new manufacturing plant.

“We believe that the Perodua Axia is competitive in the region, which ‘Asia’ was incorporated into the name,” he added.

The Perodua Axia comes in four variants, namely Standard E, Standard G, Special Edition and Advance. It also comes with a five-year warranty – another first for Perodua.

Booking fees are RM250 and RM300 – depending on the variant.

In conjunction with the month of Syawal, Perodua is holding a nationwide open house at all its sales and service outlets on Aug 16 and 17 to usher in the festival and provide more information on the Perodua Axia to the public. - BERNAMA

Begini Display "Kereta Murah" Indonesia di Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, KompasOtomotif - Pengilang terbesar kedua di Malaysia, Perodua, akan memasarkan versi rebadge "kereta murah" asal Indonesia. Model yang dikenali dengan Daihatsu Ayla di Tanah Air ini berganti nama menjadi Axia. Dari pelbagai foto yang disebar laman funtasticko.net, terlihat Axia sedang melepak di dealer-dealer Perodua menunggu pelancaran yang dijadual bulan ini (Ogos).

Terdapat tiga varian, iaitu G, SE, dan paling tinggi, Extreme. Walaupun berkongsi seni bina yang sama antara Ayla dan Axia, tetapi ada beberapa perubahan pada luaran dan dalaman.

Wajah depan menyesuaikan bahasa reka bentuk Perodua. Pelbagai detail, seperti lampu depan, gril, bemper, dan emblem menjadi pembeda. Di kabin, nuansa asas masih sama, tetapi beberapa butang di stereng mengeluarkan sedikit kesan mewah.

Meski berstatus entry level, Axia punya kelas lebih tinggi berbanding Ayla. Di Malaysia, kedudukan Axia berada di bawah hatchback Myvi. Varian Extreme khabarnya dijual dengan harga 44,000 ringgit atau sekitar Rp 161,7 juta.

Pada Februari lalu Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) telah mengeksport Ayla versi setir kiri ke Filipina dengan nama Toyota Wigo. ADM pernah mendedahkan akan mengeksport ke negara lain, tetapi tidak menyebutkan Malaysia. Axia dihasilkan di kilang kedua Perodua di Rawang, Malaysia.

AXIA sah nama rasmi model kompak baharu Perodua!

Akhirnya sah AXIA nama rasmi model kompak baharu Perodua yang bakal dilancarkan tidak lama lagi. Foto bocor terbaru ini telah dikirim melalui email daripada sahabat kita Eric. Menurutnya foto-foto ini telah diperolehinya dari sebuah group laman sosial. Jelas kelihatan emblem tertera perkataan AXIA dengan beberapa varian G, SE dan Extreme. Kemasan lampu hadapan dan belakang juga turut berbeza untuk varian G jika dibandingkan dengan varian SE dan Extrem

elas sekali Perodua begitu bersungguh-sungguh untuk menambat hati bakal pembeli dengan model ini. Foto kali ini juga menunjukkan bumper hadapan varian G yang berbeza dari varian, SE dan Extreme. Gaya rekaan bumper itu mempunyai kesinambungan daripada model Alza facelift yang diperkenalkan sebelum ini. Dikatakan harga bagi model spesifikasi penuh (varian Extreme) adalah RM44,000!

* Saya yakin model ini akan laris kerana ia bakal menjadi kereta pertama yang paling sesuai setelah model Viva ditamatkan pengeluarannya.
