KUALA LUMPUR: A landslide was reported to have occurred early this morning at Kilometre 4.2 heading towards Genting Highlands.
A spokesman from the Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the 1.10am incident.
“As of now no deaths have been reported,” the spokesman said when contacted by Astro AWANI.

He said the incident did not cause any traffic disruption as only part of the road heading towards the affected area was closed.
“There were two landslide incidents which took place with a width of about 20 metres. The area is currently being cleared up Genting Highlands authorities,” he added.

The landslide took place just several weeks after the mudslide incident in Lembah Bertam which claimed five lives.
