King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands attended a reception held for the Dutch community in India at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai and then made a short visit to the Gateway of India, which was illuminated with a Dutch scene.
On October 17, 2019, after a meeting with the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singhin Koshyari in Mumbai in the morning, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands continued their state visit in the state of Kerala. In the afternoon, they visited the Mattancherry Palace in Kochi, also known as the Dutch Palace. Afterwards, the King and Queen were given a tour of the museum and attended the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Dutch National Archives and the Kerala State Archives Department.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima attended a roundtable meeting of Dutch and Indian businesses, knowledge institutions and government bodies working to achieve the UN SDGs Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being and Clean Water and Sanitation.

On the morning of October 29, the King received President Duda at Noordeinde Palace. After the inspection of the guard of honour, a lunch was given at the Palace. King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, President Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda attended the lunch.
On November 4, 2019 Queen Maxima of the Netherlands presented 2019 Prince Bernhard Culture Fund Prize to Dutch Mill Association (Vereniging de Hollandsche Molen) in a ceremony held at Amsterdam IJ Music Building.

Queen Maxima of The Netherlands is making a two day working visit to Pakistan in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development upon the invitation of the Pakistani government. On the first day of her visit to Pakistan, the Queen met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad.
. On the second day of her visit to Pakistan, Queen Máxima spoke with international development partners, representatives from the fintech sector, the governor of the State Bank of Pakistan Reza Baqir, the prime minister’s financial advisor Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.
