Salam all,

I will post a word a day.  Any related questions, hope Mod Bulan could help to answer them.  Thanks.

1.        Personification

Which treats inanimate objects or abstract ideas as if they were living persons.

As,

-        Laughter holding both his sides.

-        Death lays his icy hands…..

‘Death’ and ‘Laughter’ are regarded as persons.

The crediting of natural objects with human emotions is called the pathetic fallacy:

The broad sun above laughed a pitiless laugh.

personification.... object etc given
:dia:human/animal qualities....

e.g...the car roared on the road...
       the flowers smiled upon me.....
