《转》母親的話語：不要忘本！
林春發──為捍衛華教325抗議大會說幾句話
2月中旬飛香港機上，讀到武吉丁宜華小董事長陳亞斯兄促魏家祥副教育部長到文冬瞭解師荒真相的新聞。不久，又讀到董總彭亨董聯會拉布條，要求政府從根本上解決華教問題……這一連串事件，讓我感觸良多。
為何華文母語教育百年了，還如此多災多難？難道是單元種族教育政策使然？我想起馬來西亞首富，華裔企業家「亞洲糖王」郭鶴年接受中國中央電視CCTV2訪談的一段話，借此和大家分享：CCTV2訪談主持人問郭鶴年：「您為什麼能講一口流利的中文？」
「那是先母的教導。她提醒我們不要忘本。」郭鶴年答。
郭老的兩位漂亮兒子和女兒也在訪談現場，兩人是美國哈佛畢業，中文講得很正統標準；
女兒郭惠光說：「爸爸堅持要我們學中文……不是廣東話，而是學普通話……」
「親愛的爸爸和媽媽……好久沒通信了……」會場放映在美國斯坦福讀文科的小女兒用端正的中文書寫寄回家的溫馨家信，郭老讀時的興奮很感人。此刻，讓我們看出郭老先生的家教和對母語華教「不忘本」堅持的高尚品格。
我在想，母親的話語：不要忘本！母語，顧名思義，即是「母親的語言」（mother's tongue）。
你我他，為捍衛母語、華教做了些什麼？
馬來西亞的華文（母語）教育事業發展一路走來，風風雨雨，在單元化教育政策的國度受盡欺凌，能堅持至今，持續性在苦難中力求突破，應歸功數十年如一日前撲后繼的華教鬥士的不懈努力與犧牲。華人雖說在華教課題上常有糾紛，但在大方向與原則性課題上，大家是一致的。
幾十年來懸而未決的華小師資嚴重短缺，調派不諳華文教師到華小執教等問題近期再次爆發，導致董總發起的325抗議大會，近日各中文報和面子書都鬧沸騰。大部分愛護華教人士都呼籲放下成見並大力支援。國家興亡，匹夫有責；華教有難，華人有責啊！
針對星期天的325大會，許多好友、前輩和領導，都直接表達了他們的看法。好友龍哥很氣忿的說：「我們文冬有三部大巴士，還有勞勿、關丹等的朋友都會支持！」全馬各地愛華教的人士，紛紛發出不平之鳴：「我們不要臨教，要合格教師……幾十年了，當局一直自圓其說，都沒誠意解決……」「巴生有大巴去支援」、「估計萬人參與……」、「不要讓政客左右，勇敢表達華社的感受……」、「講了25年……還說華社要忍耐」。
就連被某方指與董教總不和的「林連玉基金」，也表示響應號召。
「林連玉基金全力支持董總發起的『325大會：抗議華小師資嚴重短缺和不具華文資格教師派到華小執教』，並呼籲全體會員、社會人士和社團代表參與3月25日在董教總。」
中華總商會會長鍾廷森說：「和平集會不會影響外資。如果是和平示威就沒關係，就當作是做運動。」
「這是華教大事，一定要大力支持！」賴校長和譚學長堅定不移的說。
我期望看到在母語教育關鍵課題上，大家同心協力，團結一致，不分你我。
大馬人經過民主政治的洗禮后，現在舉行抗議大會，拉布條向政府表達心聲，已經非常普遍。
去年709「淨選盟2.0」大集會，數萬人遊行，黃潮滾滾；今年226的「綠色盛會2.0」反稀土集會，三大民族表現出高度自律和平。幾萬人的黃潮、綠潮會場沒有人亂丟紙屑和飲料瓶。我深信，週日的華教325大會，必然會更和平、自律。我認為，只有廢除單元教育政策，才能全盤解決母語教育的困擾。
