馬來西亞的獨立，各民族都有貢獻的。但是，誰出賣了馬來西亞華人社會？這你不可不知道。
在1957年獨立之前，我國三大民族（即馬來人、華人及印度人）爭取獨立。英國政府要求三大民族各派代表呈上各民族的備忘錄（各民族的心聲）到英國倫敦與 政府談判獨立條件。
头号华社败类——陳東海
當時華社代表開大會，大會的議決，華社的總要求是“各民族平等地位”，同時華文應為國家主要語文之一。
於是，馬華公會总秘书陳東海（即馬華第三號人物），代表馬來西亞華人到英國倫敦呈上備忘錄與英國政府談判。在談判的前一天，陳東海因为受到来自巫统方面的利诱，竟然把備忘錄丢棄了！
结果華人代表以無條件的方式與英國政府談判。至今華人沒有地位，就是被那華社代表出賣民族利益。
華社的敗類 —— 陳東海，遺臭萬年。
马来西亚国父东姑阿都拉曼，在他80年代出版的回忆录中说：马来亚联合邦在向英政府申请独立时，马华公会其中一位代表陈东海，抽掉了其中最主要的华社诉求备忘录。呈上桌面谈判的文件，连英国人也感到不可思议。
当时英国人再三询问：马来亚华人真的没有什么要求吗？陈东海回答：《是的！就是这 些简单的要求罢了！》
因为英国人并不知道已经少了一份备忘录，最主要的一份备忘录！ 就是马来亚华社召开特别大会通过的议案，列出马来亚华人对于独立之后所应享有的公民权利的备忘录。而当时理应一起到英国伦敦出席马来亚独立谈判的马华总会长陈祯禄，也《刚好身体健康欠佳》，没有出席。这个《巧合》也成为日后他推卸责任的最佳借口。
陈东海在谈判桌上的另一个过失，就是承认马来人特权，来换取一些从中国南来谋生的华人成为马来西亚公民。
其时槟州马六甲等海峡殖民地的居民不管是不是新来都已是公民，其他州属在本地出生的也理所当然是公民。
这在英国殖民地政府眼中其实已经不是问题；也无须提到谈判桌上来讨论。但是陈东海为了向他的巫统主子献媚，竟然拿这个《不是问题的问题》当成谈判条件，代表华人主动献议以承认马来人享有特权来《换取》华人公民权。
这笔买卖华人社会亏大了！但是当华社得知原委的时候，一切已成定局。两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山！华团领袖除了对陈东海骂声不绝之外，已经无力回天，只好认命。因此陈东海是马来西亚华社第一大汉奸的地位，稳若泰山，无人能出其右。他后来改变信仰，从基督教改为信奉回教，连名字也改为Mohammad Tahir。是最典型的数典忘祖之败类。
二号华社败类——陳修信
1958年林苍佑挫败陈祯禄当选马华总会长后，曾经以华裔人口占三份之一为理由，向当时的首相东姑要求，必须有一位华人副首相以及马华必须分配到三分之一的国会选区。林苍佑的诉求，获得广大华社热烈响应，教总主席林连玉先生也鼎力支持。
谁知道又出了一个陈修信，借助他父亲陈祯禄的元老派势力，加上陈东海，梁宇皋，翁毓麟等等英文教育派权谋者，与巫统里应外合架空总会长权势，逼退林苍佑，令林苍佑怒火攻心，宣布辞去马华公会总会长，飞往伦敦疗养身体。
自此之后，马华领导层个个都只顾乌纱帽，个人权位为重，华社权益为轻。华社至此江河日下，大势已去。沦为二等公民，在马来人的施舍下苟且偷生。因此陈修信在华社心目中，是继陈东海之后，排名第二的华社第二大汉奸。这一点也毋庸置疑。
三号华社败类——梁宇皋
华社心目中排名第三的大汉奸，是曾经在马来西亚1957年独立时担任过马六甲州长的梁宇皋。
这个连自己的中文名字都不会写的香蕉人，竟然是参与制定《1960年拉曼达立教育报告书》的马华最主要代表之一。他在面对教总主席林连玉连珠炮式的追问轰炸时，显得手足无措，竟然承认自己不懂得中文，也不明白华文教育对华裔公民有什么重要性。
《1960年拉曼达立教育报告书》就是后来与1961年在国会通过成为《马来西亚教育法令》的基础。马来西亚教育法令的最终目标就是推行单一语文教育政策，唯一受到重视的只有马来文；华文教育成为政府的眼中钉。
在陈修信，陈东海和梁宇皋这三大汉奸为巫统护航，里应外合，软硬兼施之下，华文中学被强制改制成为国民型中学，华文小学教育从此受到无理欺凌打压，无法自由发展。而令梁宇皋和陈修信吃尽苦头的教总主席林连玉先生，也被马华在幕后怂恿策划之下，被联盟政府递夺公民权，取消所有教师津贴和恩俸金，意图令林老先生生活陷入困境，最后郁郁而终。
华裔公民权益被剥夺；华裔沦为三等公民；华文教育被无理打压；大学学额受到固打制限制，许多优秀华裔子弟无法进入国民大学门槛；华裔公民在各个领域都受到不平等的对待。这些种种，血泪斑斑，华社必须永远铭记在心。更加要让年轻的华裔子弟了解这些丑陋的历史真相，时刻勿忘。
今天，马华还有脸面要求华裔选民将选票投给他们的候选人。林祥才前两天在沙登还开口求华裔选民不要让马华在大选中全军覆没。这样厚脸皮的话都说得出口，以为年轻一代不懂马华出卖华人的历史，以为老一辈华人已经忘记了历史的伤痛和教训？
历史真相不容扭曲篡改，历史真相也不会被人遗忘。对马华，我们只能说：出来混，迟早要还的！
