 It sounds like something out of a disaster movie, but this fire tornado is a very real phenomenon. What started as a controlled burn - used in areas like forest management to prevent things like more dangerous blazes - quickly turned into something never seen on camera before. A dust devil formed after the fire was started at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Denver, Colorado, taking two relatively harmless occurrences and merging them into a terrifying prospect. Comparable to a tornado, dust devils usually don't cause too many problems, but the speed and intensity can be seen in the clip as tumbleweeds spin round - and then it takes the blaze with it. Yup - here we see a whirlwind actually carrying fire across land - and it's no surprise people around the world are getting excited at seeing this phenomenon captured on camera for the first time.
