Phablets are becoming more and more prevalent in the mobile landscape, with the Samsung Galaxy Note line being at the forefront of sales. If Samsung's past trends are any indication, then expect the Note 4 to be akin to the Galaxy S5 in terms of design. The Note 4 will support the USB 3.0 and 2.0 cables just as the Note 3 did. There's also talk that the Note 4's display will be sharper than even the Galaxy S5's: 2560 x 1440 vs 1920 x 1080. There have also been murmurs of 4K resolution on the Note 4, but that's more than likely wishful thinking. If all of the talk is to be believed, the Note 4 will be a rugged beast as well, and will come complete with dust and water-proofing, just like the S5. Samsung may pack their latest phablet with a hexa-core Exynos CPU, but it may very well sport a Snapdragon 801 instead. Camera-wise, the latest note should be identical to the S5: a 20.1MP unit with the same photography skills as its less enormous counterpart. So when will you be able to get both of your hands on this impressive piece of mobile computing? Well that's tough to say. The Galaxy S5 has been offered ahead of schedule, so that may have messed with Samsung's release timelime. Expect the Note 4 to follow shortly after, but there is no definite date set in stone.
