 A teacher was arrested after a girl showed them a letter that the teacher wrote. In the letter, the 24-year-old teacher apologized for having a relationship with the girl’s boyfriend, who is underage. However, Meredith Powell of Tacoma, Washington, seemed to have been busy in school. She was doing more than just teaching math. A fourth student came forward telling police that he had sex with Powell in return for raising his grades. As we reported earlier, who doesn't like a hot teacher? Sitting in school can be boring, but when there is a hot teacher present, things get more interesting. However, some female teachers cross the line and then they end up on the wrong side of the law. Meredith Powell, 24, of Tacoma, Washington, is one of those teachers. The 24-year-old high school teacher has allegedly admitted to performing sex acts on several students, inside her classroom. The students were between 15 and 16 years old. Powell is also accused of sending photos of herself in the bathtub to one student. Powell, a math teacher at Lincoln High School, pleaded not guilty on Friday, to two counts of third-degree child rape and one count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. The teacher’s actions became known after she wrote a letter to the girlfriend of one of her victims. In the letter, which was turned over to police, Powell apologized for her promiscuous and unprofessional actions. Powell was arrested and was later released from the Pierce County Jail on her own recognizance. For now, the school placed Powell on leave without pay.
