 Thought office supplies were boring? Think again. French film-maker Guillaume Blanchet has created a super-cute stop motion short using office essentials such as paperclips (is this a good time to flag up the top five paperclips of all time?), elastic bands and hundreds of thumbtacks. A Girl Named Elastika follows the epic adventures of a young girl who dreams of travelling the world. It’s like Amélie meets… er… Ryman. And if that description doesn’t entirely do it justice, put it this way. You’ll never look at the office stationery cupboard in the same way again. Promise.
