LOS ANGELES, April 17 — Miley Cyrus’ recovery may take several weeks after her infection went “horribly wrong”. The 21-year-old ‘Wrecking Ball’ star was hospitalised in Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics. And according to TMZ she could remain at the medical facility for weeks to come, as her sinus infection has “gone horribly wrong”. Miley’s representative has apparently confirmed to the outlet she received a prescription for cephalexin after she was diagnosed with the respiratory issue in North Carolina last week. But it seems the Keflex product nearly killed her, as her “throat swelled to the point she could barely talk” just days after she began ingesting the pills. This was supposedly the first time she took the drug, so she had no idea her body wasn’t receptive to it. An allergic reaction like this can take up to 27 days to reverse and it is unknown exactly when Miley will be released from hospital. She has had to cancel three concert dates on her ‘Bangerz’ tour this month due to illness and it appears likely she’ll have to strike a few more shows from the schedule. Despite being under the weather, Miley appears to be in high spirits. “Kansas I promise Im as ? as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. ? Not being with yall makes me feel shittier than I already do ?,” Miley wrote on Twitter to fans from her hospital bed on Tuesday. “Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me ?” — Cover Media
