As Divergent gets closer and closer to hitting theaters, the anticipation for the film is only getting higher especially now that a brand new trailer has been released. The new trailer is different from past trailers; however, as it shows Shailene Woodley’s character take on Kate Winslet’s character. In the newest clip, Shailene Woodley goes to battle by fighting for the Divergents. These are the people who don’t fit anywhere in a world where people are divided into different districts based on their personalities. These people are considered a threat by the leader of the intelligent Erudite community, which is played by actress Kate Winslet. Kate Winslet’s character, Jeanine Matthews, is seen stating, "I want every Divergent hunted down and killed. Every single one." The end of the new trailer sees Shailene’s character, Tris, finally admitting who she really is after previously concealing her identity. "There's a word for people like me," she states. "I'm Divergent." The film is based on the bestseller written by Veronica Roth, and is actually the first of a trilogy. It will hit theaters on March 21 in the US. See the new trailer below:
