Katy Perry's "Dark Horse," featuring Juicy J, has topped the Hot 100 chart for three consecutive weeks, but has yet to receive an official music video. That will change on Feb. 20, when the collaboration's official clip -- apparently, a Cleopatra homage, judging by the 30-second teaser released on Thursday (Feb. 20) -- is finally unveiled.
Expect delicious camp when Perry heads to ancient Egypt, as the "Dark Horse" clip will likely strike the goofy-fun vibe of last year's "Roar" video. "If she fell in love, you'd be top dawg," reads the faux-hieroglyphics in the video, describing the wishes of the famed Katy Patra. "If she didn't, her wrath would leave you whimpering." Of course, the big reveal of the teaser is Perry on her throne, sporting a bejeweled grill, just like they used to wear in ancient Egypt. What wacky garb will Juicy J be dressed in for the video? We'll have to wait one week to find out. Although "Unconditionally," Perry's second single from "PRISM," failed to enter the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart, "Dark Horse" has picked up the slack by becoming the singer's ninth No. 1 single on the chart. She and Juicy J performed the song last month at the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, where Perry was nominated for song of the year with "Roar." -Billboard-
