Apacer introduced a flash drive AH172, outwardly resembling a piece of candy in the shape of a flower. The drive is equipped with a micro-USB connector, which is its main feature. The presence of such connection provides the ability to connect Apacer AH172 directly to mobile devices with Android, without using any cables or adapters. Of course, with your smartphone or tablet must maintain a USB OTG (On-The-Go). The drive is available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities, and in two matching colors, “Romantic Peach” and “Fresh Blue”. It is an useful product for those of you who might have an Android phone or tablet that can't accept extra storage in the form of a microSD card — or simply for those of you who want to take more stuff with your than your microSD card can handle. However, it won't work on all Android smartphones; your phone needs to run Android 4.1 or higher, and it has to support USB on-the-go. There are no cables to deal with, and an extra power source isn't required. When you plug the Apacer AH172 into your phone, it will be detected as a USB storage device. The drive worked perfectly using a HTC Butterfly S smartphone Apacer AH172 comes with an additional USB Adapter for laptop and desktop connection Ready to transfer files to and from a PC. If you have a need to transfer files from smartphone to computer and vice-versa without data dependency then I would highly recommend buying one. At the least it is a thumb drive and priced well. Sorry if you have an iPhone (for now).
