It turns out you don’t have to be in the water to get slapped by a whale. This YouTube clip showed the moment an unfortunate girl called Chelsea was hit by one of the large creatures, while ‘safely’ inside a boat. The footage begun with her sitting on the vessel, with other tourists, admiring the whale swimming in the sea. But the giant mammal soon got too close for comfort when it struck the girl on the top of the head with its tail. ‘We went whale watching on the Baja this weekend, and unfortunately, Chelsea got smacked in the head by a whale’s tail,’ wrote YouTube user Jordyn R, who posted the video online yesterday. Luckily the girl was not injured – but she might have had a sore head afterwards. Via: Metro |
