 James Bond producers are reportedly keen for Adele to sing the theme tune for the next 007 film but the singer is making them sweat it out. So far, the Someone Like You star hasn’t responded to studio execs even though they – along with star Daniel Craig – have made it clear they want her back for the 24th Bond film. A source told The Sun: ‘The chiefs here have made their feelings known to Adele that they want her back for the next film. ‘Daniel has also made it clear he loved Adele and wants her back but she has not responded, which is making them sweat.’
Adele’s theme song for Skyfall was a huge success and became the first Bond theme to win at the Golden Globes, the Brit awards and the Oscars. The singer is currently working on her third album – the follow-up to 21 – with rumours that she is working with Prince, Phil Collins and producers James Ford and Kid Harpoon. The paper previously reported that Adele could be releasing the album much sooner than expected. An insider said: ‘Label bosses are getting very excited and word has spread around the industry like wildfire to expect Adele’s new material imminently.’ Metro |
