Dalam masa hanya beberapa jam selepas meletak jawatan, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad kembali menerajui kerajaan sebagai Perdana Menteri interim.

Ketua Setiausaha Negara, Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali berkata, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah memperkenankan pelantikan itu.

- CARI

SHOULD WE ACCEPT THE CHANGE?
.
We didnt get new Malaysia in 2018, as I predicted and warned.  All we got was an old Malaysia, with a twist. Lets review the facts :
.
- We have one the worst performing stock market in the world  for 2019. All other ASEAN countries were booming, except for Malaysia.
.
- We dont seem to have much clue how to fix this. We went to SST from GST, yet prices still went up. Less revenue for gomen, yet things still go up. This decision was emotionally popular but in reality will set us back a few years.
.
- Our debts has gone up massively in the last 2 years despite change of gomen and promise of being more prudent.
.
- Investments are down. Not many large companies are looking to invest and set up shop in Malaysia.
.
- Infrastructure projects are being stopped, reviewed and in the in the end continue'd at a much lower spec to "save" cost. No new major infra projects being launched to spur the economy yet our debt has continued to go up. Compare that to Indonesia that is sent to spend USD200Bil on infrastructure projects in the next 10 year. We on the other hand, cancelling and reviewing infrastructure projects and delaying progress by a few years.
.
- Personally I feel disharmony today is at its peak. Everything becomes a racial issue. A lot of hatred everywhere.
.
- Rule of law? You have an MP which is accused of raping his maid, allowed to walk free. The RM300Mil paid for a tunnel study in Penang case was also "forgotten" and forgiven. Adib's killer was never charged.
.
- Consumer confidence and spending are down. Businesses are closing down. We have to cut interest rates now to spur domestic consumption.
.
- Are we less corrupted than before? From what I've been hearing, not really. Politicians are human, and many of our decisions were made out of fear and greed.
.
- All our leaders are busy attacking or defending their position, instead of working. I've been hearing for almost a year now,  that DAP and PKR plotting to forcefully remove Tun.  So if a guy like me who doesnt give a damn about politics can know and hear about this, what makes these guys think that Tun doesnt know about their plot? What happened in the last 7 days was actually highly predictable.
.
Folks, no major investments/jobs are coming our way as everyone wants to know who will succeed Tun first. We know there's power transition coming but i cant recall there has been any statement from Tun saying "I will step down as PM for Anwar"........ever. All he said is that he will step down, but never specifically for Anwar. Investors dont like uncertainty. Once we have a clear succession plan that Tun announce openly, we will have better stability and gain investors confidence.
.
So personally am I looking forward to a change of the current cabinet? Absolutely. I come to accept that politicians will always be politicians, and I dont expect much. I dont expect them to look after me or my family as thats my job. All I can do is to work hard, and invest even harder to look after my family and the people I care about. In this world, I only trust 3 person which are :
.
1. Me
2. Myself
3. I
.
All i'm hoping from our politicians and leaders, at least we have stability, enough good jobs for everyone and implementation of good policies that will ensure we all be prosperous, in the medium to long run, so that our kids wont suffer.

Xde Pru kan.  Siapa yg ada at least 112 support MP dia lah yg di lantik jadi PM. And so far hanya Tun yg ada support tu.

Pastu ada pulak yg kata BN over demand. Adakah sebab tu tun ambil tindakan drastik cenggini? Makanya semua melepas...

Tak sabar nak tau jalan cerita seterusnya

Mari belajor perlembagaan bersama2:

Article 43

(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong shall appoint a Jemaah Menteri (Cabinet of Ministers) to advise him in the exercise of his functions.

(2) The Cabinet shall be appointed as follows, that is to say -

(a) the Yang di-Pertuan Agong shall first appoint as Perdana Menteri (Prime Minister) to preside over the Cabinet a member of the House of Representative who in his judgment is likely to command the confidence of the majority of the members of that House; and

(b) he shall on the advice of the Prime Minister appoint other Menteri (Ministers) from among the members of either House of Parliament;

but if an appointment is made while parliament is dissolved a person who was a member of the last House of Representatives may be appointed but shall not continue to hold office after the beginning of the next session of Parliament unless, if he has been appointed Prime Minister, he is a member of the new House of Representatives, and in any other case he is a member either of that House or of the Senate.

(3) The Cabinet shall be collectively responsible to Parliament.

(4) If the Prime Minister ceases to command the confidence of the majority of the members of the House of Representatives, then, unless at his request the Yang di- Pertuan Agong dissolves Parliament, the Prime Minister shall tender the resignation of the Cabinet.

(5) Subject to Clause (4), Ministers other than the Prime Minister shall hold office during the pleasure of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, unless the appointment of any Minister shall have been revoked by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Prime Minister but any Minister may resign his office.

(6) Before a Minister exercises the functions of his office he shall take and subscribe in the presence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong the oath of office and allegiance and the oath of secrecy set out in the Sixth Schedule.

(7) Notwithstanding anything in this Article, a person who is a citizen by naturalization or by registration under Article 17 shall not be appointed Prime Minister.

(8) If a member of the Legislative Assembly of a State is appointed a minister he shall resign from the Assembly before exercising the functions of his office.

(9) Parliament shall by law make provision for the renumeration of members of the Cabinet.

BABAK SATU:
Agong pakai 43 (2) (a).  Appoint merely sambedi IN HIS JUDGEMENT yang mendapat kepercayaan majoriti.  So kalo dia tetap percaye Atoklah orang tersebut maka Atok la yang jadi PM sementara ni.  Sebab dia tak pecaye ade orang lain yang mendapat mandat tersebut.  Dalam ertikata lain: veto.
