Details about the TBS spring drama "Kodoku no Kake ~Itoshiki Hito Yo~" have been revealed. Actor Hideaki Ito and actress Kyoko Hasegawa will play the lead roles.
The series is based on the novel by Junpei Gomikawa, which has previously been adapted as a drama twice and as a movie once. Although the novel is currently out of print, publisher Gentosha has decided to republish it in March.
The plot is described as a love story between a lonely man and woman. An ambitious young businessman named Daijiro (Ito) is building an empire in the night-time entertainment industry when he encounters a designer named Momoko (Hasegawa). She approaches him with a request for a loan of 20 million yen, using her own body as collateral.
The rest of the cast includes Haruka Igawa, Masato Sakai, Noriko Aota, and Saki Takaoka. The series airs in the Thursday 10:00pm time slot, starting in April.

Tachi & aiko are over...
Hachi Yomiuri has reported that TOKIO's Taichi Kokubun and one of the most popular female singers in Japan, aiko, are officially over. This would be one of the most high-profile breakups of the year. Fans of this couple never expected this; instead they think this couple might just be only the second high-profile Johnny's to go down the aisle.Note: terkejut den! aku ingat diorg akan kawin gak...macam mana la muzik aiko pasni, instead of happy happy (most of her lyrics are inspired y Taichi), maye pasni aiko akan nyanyi lagu sedih2 lak :(
