[FULL TIME] Collection Analyst

Job Description- To monitor the debtors collection for both company including sub-managed outbound detention and maintenance and repair collections
- To ensure all refund, write off AR adjustment procedure is in place within time frame.
- Constant follow-up with overdue accounts for payment via telephone calls and email. Where necessary, fax statement of account to the account concerned.
- Ensure overdue receivable over 30 days are collected within Corporate and management target
- To liaison with operation on all collection issue
- Visit customer (if necessary) to resolve any outstanding items that could not have been effectively communicated via telephone / email chases.
- Answer customer queries and initiate correspondence to resolve dispute/issues as appropriate
- Extract daily giro / remittance from the bank statement.
- Record cheque payment / giro / remittance and distribute to cashier / Fin analyst for payment distribution
- Process write off form when Sales or Doc dept have gathered all relevant information regarding the customer a/cs status and value of debt. Form to to be approved by Fin Controller / MD per the company policies and procedures based on the amount involved.
- Assist in CSA testing, ensuring compliance with POM policies.
- Liaise with Auditors on credit and collection queries.
- Assist to move payment on the discrepancies by cashier through email requests. Correct and cancel invoice. Adjust forex difference.
- Ensure that all essential AR documents are properly field
- Resolve billings and any AR exceptions with field personnel within the given time frame.
- To assist in monitoring cash report verification
- To act as back up during teammates absence.
Job Requirement- Min Diploma in Accountancy / Business
- Min 2 years experience, fresh graduates can be considered
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and computer applications.
- Good command of English, Malay & Chinese.
- Aggressive, independent, meticulous, possesses good problem solving, communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadline.
