Where to study about Islam?

Assalaamualaikum,

What schools/organizations in Malaysia take foreign students, to study about islam?

I've heard of Perkim in Kota Bharu..(but not sure if they teach in english?)
Any other schools? (full time or part time, free or pay to study)

Why don't you ask JAKIM? Sure they can point you to the right direction.

You want to study about Islam in Malaysia or you want to do Islamic Studies in Malaysia? What level? Please be specific.

Subjects like,
- Arabic language
- Learn Quran & Hadiths & read/recite
- Dawah
- anything else that they teach...about islam

Mostly for a beginner level at first.. (maybe from few months to many years)

Not really looking for a full university study or such, but Islam only study.
But please let me know any places that you know, either schools or islam only study.
As I have some friends interested also to study (islam) here.
