A static cockpit shown in Farnborough Air Show 06.
impressive "simple & nice" control system, featuring 2 15 inch LCD and 3 smaller auxiliary screen.
for most vital, they are TOUCH SCREENs!
main controls are simple and tidy. Not at all to look like a "Russian" a/c.

New SU-35 had been redesign its airframe, obviously no more canard wing.
1- Reduced RCS (about 1m^2)
2- N035 Irbis Radar (AESA)
3- Rear-looking self-defence radar in shorter tail sting
4- AL-41F1A turbofan engines rated at 147kN (supercruising???).
5 - Extended high-lift devices with large flaperon occuping the full trailing edge
6 - L175M Khibiny-M electronic-warfare self-defence system
7 - Reduced-area empennage
8 - Larger Air Intakes
9 - New and lighter systems, including quadruple digital fly-by-wire flight-control system.
10- New man-machine interface with fully-glass cockpit with two large LCD screens and helmet mounted display

It depends on how you defined it, but myself have the same doubt as you do.
Anyway, there are no official spec for it.
We have to wait for further detail

but dont think it will come to real la...
the new 35 haven has its own prototype...
according to sukhoi (i spell it correctly this time:love: ),
the 1st prototype will be built in late 06 and probably to has its maiden in 07
