Some foods spoil more quickly than others, but with the right storage techniques, these grocery items can have a surprisingly long shelf life.
Here are some foods that will last longer than you might think.(here i list out 3 of it, for more detail can watch video below)

White rice
Rice is one of the must have foods for stockpiles just because it is cheap, easy to get and easy to store for a great long shelf life. Rice can easily last for up to 30 years but again, should be stored in food-grade containers and food storage bags.


Dry pasta
Pasta can last up to 30 years when no moisture or oxygen is present. If it’s sealed with oxygen absorbers it can last much longer. Recommend purchasing pasta from a supplier of long-lasting food.

Canned meat
Spam, canned chicken, corn beef, canned ham, and tuna can last from 2 to 5 years after the can’s printed date, so long that it’s stored in ideal conditions. Always check for signs of botulism in cans prior to eating, as botulism can be deadly.

Is this RMO considered as emergency? Or sehingga perintah Darurat dikeluarkan barulah dikatakan emergency? Frozen veges might be helpful too. For example, frozen berries, spinach, and mix veges. Kena amalkan pemakanan yang betul juga walaupun waktu waktu begini. And some veges can be found canned. Macam bamboo shoots and baby corn, mushroom and so on, pickled veges pun boleh disediakan.

I selalu stock up canned food awal awal tahun. Tak banyak but berjenis ( ada la 4 5 jenis) and jangka hayat sampai hujung tahun je. So in the meantime, kalau ada emergency, I akan pakai. Menuju ke hujung tahun (sebulan dua sebelum expired) I will finish them all.
