masa belajar mmg la kena strive betul-betul sbb nak good grades, whether we could apply apa yg kita belajar masa kerja nanti is another issue.
for me, kalau i nak recruit new graduates ni, regardless which univ they came from, the first thing i evaluate is their attitude towards the current situation/issues. be it in technical field or general, behavioural assessment is important. mmg ada yg cgpa nya very good, tapi kalau tak boleh communicate, tak boleh analyse buat apa ?
these are among the reasons ramai tak dpt kerja yg mereka idamkan.
To those freshies out there, equip yourself with other skills before embarking to the real world, super duper so-called-good-result does not guaranteed that you will get good jobs.
nowadays, employers prefer multi skills employee, so make sure you are employable.
Tips during interview : be honest, do not be cocky, confident, think before you answer.
Good luck !!!

Yes I totally agree with you guys. Perlu tahu cara to communicate, and in English.

During interviews selalu kena tanya if I had faced situations in the past which requires me to use my leadership and analytical skills. Is it OK if I tell a few white lies?

And I think companies do not just want an achiever. You have to be a people person as well.

from my experience, to be able to communicate well in english is a key thing in succeding any interviews.  aku dulu mase grad, cgpa bukannye bagus pun... 2.6 something jek.... aku tau mostly company takkan pandangnye... but then mase aku dapat interview kat one chinese company, the general manager kat situ cakap for a malay, u speak very fluent english... huhu..bangga kejap... yer le time tu aku baru balik dari us, mmg la slang tu ada lagik... tapi tak sangka la plak die nak cakap camtuh sebab aku dah la pegi interview dengan baju kurung nye, dengan takde makeup ape semua.... huhuhu... dah la seingat aku time interview tu takde menda sangat pasal teknikal yg die tanye... banyak borak2 kosong...citer pasal experience aku kat obersea.. and that manager pun citer pasal die pegi vacation la..hape laa...but dah rezeki kat situ..aku  dapat keje kat situ...walaupun fresh grad and with very little knowledge....
