utk JFF ni aku tgk 6 movie je.. ikutkn plan nak tgk semua 10 movie, tapi terkilan x dapat tgk Tokyo Tower, trus malas tgk 3 movie lain tu..

movie yg aku tgk:

ULTRAMAN MEBIUS & ULTRAMAN BROTHERS
~haha, teringat kenangan lama.. nak tergelak tgk rupe burok monster die..   tergelak2 bile terkenangkan otromen lawan je mesti bnyk kemusnahan, payah dok kat jepun..   masa dr angkasa nak tuju ke bumi pun, mesti spot kat jepun gak.. saja je komen, ikutkan dah mmg konsep cite ni camni tak logik, tapi suka sgt dok bincang mende2 ni..   kirenye compare dgn Hancock, polis patut marah kat Otromen compare dgn Hancock..   eh, tapi x aci, Otromen ni besar, haha..

THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME
~sape yg tgk animasi series cite ni? aku x penah tgk, tapi bile tgk movie ni, best sgt.. nak tergelak2 aku bile teringat balik time die patah balik masa nak adjust balik keadaan.. mmg terhibur..

HARP OF BURMA
~cite tahun 50an rasenye.. daripaad director terkenal jepun yg dah meninggal iaitu Ichikawa Kon, and utk JFF kali ni ada 3 movie sbg tribute kpd die..ni movie lama, so supposely kualiti tetap kureng skit camne pun, so takleh nak nilai sgt.. BTW, good story and good plot..

TEN DARK WOMEN
~good story juga, director Ichikawa Kon.. movie lama , 60an kut..

DORA-HEITA
~director Ichikawa Kon gak. tapi yg ni movie tahun 2000.. good story.. unique gak cite ni.. cite commissioner samurai tapi dibuat versi lawak2 halus.. tergelak2 gak.. tapi bagi aku cam susah nak paham citeni dan dipenuhi dgn politik..

MEMORIES OF MATSUKO
~oh, best cite ni.. cite pasal kesepian hidup Matsuko.. i like it, sedey pun bnyk.. kelakar pun bnyk..

JFF kembali lagi

Tujuh filem cereka yang menjadi pertaruhan JFF tahun ini ialah Ken & Mary, Ogawa no Hotori (At River‘s Edge), The Chef of South Polar, The Kirishima Thing, Until the Break of Dawn, Dearest, Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror, The Great Passage dan Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea.

Last updated on 12 September 2013 - 04:21pm

THE Japanese Film Festival 2013 is returning this month.

Organised by the Japan Foundation with the support of Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), this year's festival will showcase nine films that will be screened over six days in the Klang Valley, Penang, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

All films are in Japanese with English subtitles.

This 10th year of the festival will see the premiere of a brand-new film, Ken and Mary, which was filmed in Malaysia in 2011.

It opens on Sept 12 in selected GSC cinemas in the Klang Valley.

The film will have its world premiere in Japan in November.

Ken and Mary is directed by Fukasaku Kenta and stars Takeaka Naoto, Hu Bing and Kitano Kii.

It tells the story of a Japanese father who comes all the way to Malaysia to break off the engagement of his daughter.

Stranded in an airport during a storm, he is forced to seek help from a Chinese man who speaks dodgy Japanese.

The film features Malaysia's Zizan Raja Lawak, who acts as a colleague of the Japanese man's daughter.

Other movies featured in the festival line-up are The Great Passage and Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea (2013); Dearest, Until the Break of Dawn and The Kirishima Thing (2012); Ogawa no Hotori [At River's Edge] (2011); The Chef of South Polar and Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror (2009).

Tickets for the festival are priced at RM6 each except for Detective Conan : Private Eye in the Distant Sea, which will be sold at prevailing ticket prices.

The Japanese Film Festival 2013 will be held at GSC Pavilion KL, GSC Mid Valley, GSC 1 Utama in Klang Valley until Sept 17; GSC Gurney Plaza in Penang from Sept 19 to Sept 22; GSC CityOne Mall in Kota Kinabalu from Sept 26 to Sept 29; and GSC Suria Sabah Mall from Oct 3 to Oct 6.
