Upscaling DVD player...

Salam,
Tumpang tanya, apa beza DVD yg ada upcaling dgn normal punya DVD player.... betul ka gambar lebih cantik.... beza mmg banyak kerr cantiknya? |

bro....mamang ada beza.
Ada 3 category od DVD out there:
1) Normal - usually yang murah - below RM200. No mentioning of HDMI/ 1080 upscalling on the box.
2) DVD - HDMI/Upscalling capability - Range from RM250 and above.
3) Blueray DVD player
If you are using the normal one and viewing it on LCD/Plasma, you would notice that the performance/ viewing not up to mark. In fact worse comparing to the normal CRT TV.
If you are using the Upscalling version, you will see a vast improvement. However, to maximize this, pls ensure that your LCD is atleast 1080i capable, or the best, LCD with 1080p capable.
And ofcourse, lagi cantik, if you can afford to buy the BLUERAY DVD player. The cheapest now, for you to buy the PS3, coz it is Blueray enable. |

So mmg betul ke berbezaannya ketara?
Pasal skrg nie pakai normal DVD player.... terpikir nak tukar yg ada upscaling tapi kalau improvement nyer tak banyak kire sia2 je beli.....
Bluray plak software nie mahal lagi..... tunggu murah nanti baru fikir nak beli..... |

takderler petak2 tu obvious sgt.....kalau paaki yg normal tu..manag sakit hati......tak clear langsung....tapi make sure, you beli upscaling dvd dgn HDMI cable sekali....usually, dia bagi sekali....tapi kalu takder...then you need to buy ler |

Kalau tak silap aku lah, PS3 bole upscale DVD movie tu jadi lawa. Tapi make sure jgn pakai dvd yg cetak rompak punya. Takut lens dia cepat kong..

ada satu lagi masalah...... budget aku dalam seribu aku utk DVD HTIB..... yg speaker jenis cube (bukannya floor standing) brand yg aku dah survey:
1. Philip
2. sony
3. samsung
4. poineer
5. LG
dalam brand2 di atas yg mana paling best gambarnya, bunyi aku tak berapa kisah sgt pasal HTIB nie bunyi nya lebih kurang jeeee. Budget dlm seribu jeee.... |

yg penting sbnrnya kau kena beli DVD yg ori, kalau yg pirates gambar memang pecah.
DVD yg HDMI dah cukup utk gambar yg cantik. lgpun bd punya disc still mahal. |

tak jugak... pasal kalau copy dari original DVD... gambar sama jerr... mungkin feature je yg kurang..... pasal format digital. |

try beli brand pioneer...sebab brand lain amat cerewet sometimes dgn disc...specially disc "ahem" tapi kalau pioneer so far takde issue...aku rekemen HTZ 171 DVD...boleh upscale 1080p !
tapi Once u all tengok blu ray u all takkan tengok lagi DVD biasa !! hehe pasal mmg banyak beza in terms of clarity, picture details etc...to lom campur sound dia kalau betul setup home theatre u...boleh keluar 7.1 sound tu beb |

also kalau boleh beli LCD yg full HD lah bukan HD ready sebab itu juga memainkan peranan..sebab 1080i dgn 1080P mmg ada beza....
tak percaya cuba pergi review LCD tv connected via HDMI player and u can see the different also try main games specially ps3.....tu belum u tengok FULL HD with Blu Ray...
kalau rajin pergi ke Best Denki KLCC or Midvalley or Harvey Norman...hehehe u'll be amazed man !!! |

kalau HD Ready pioneer tu still boleh upscale ke 1080i.....btw takyah beli blu ray..kalau rajin pi Pudu Plaza...sana ada kedai jual DVD yg di compress dari Blu Ray....gambar dia mmg clear cam blu ray...sound pun sama...actually depa rip from Blu Ray disc tapi special feature mostly depa buang...pasal tak leh masuk dvd...yelah blu ray tu satu disck 50GB....hehe...
so dah beli ke? or else try beli dvd player jer cam Pioneer 410 or Sony 708 |

akhirnya aku dah beli... setelah sekian lama..... bercadang nak tukar (itu pun pasal dvd player yg dah hampir lapan tahun kong).... brand samsung HTX30, murah jeee... lagi murah dari poineer DVD170 tapi okla, budget ciput.... tapi kira ok la pasal ada hdmi, usb,....
gambar plak lebih detail.... siap nampak gigi kuning lagi, jadi terkejut kejap pasal sebelum nie (dvd lama aku) gambar smooth...... lelama baru boleh biasakan dgn gambar dari Player samsung nie.....
lagi satu , kalau pakai hdmi, warna dier mmg lagi rich..... compare dgn component... tu aje review aku..... |
