WHIPPED/LIGHT/HEAVY/FRESH/DOUBLE CREAM

lamo tak jenguk... nak tanye sket (rase cam takde org tanye)... kalu dah ade yg tanye tuu sori laa ek..

Soklan = Mana yer nak carik Heavy Cream... dah jenuh naik turun carrefour + tesko tapi tak jumpe2 jugak.. yg ade whipping cream ade laa.. Double cream pon takde..

Takpon ade tak resepi buat heavy/double cream nie... hehehe... (soklan yg susah dijwb)...

Can u tell me the difference between double cream, heavy cream, whipping cream, single cream and light cream? What are the purpose for each cream? Which one of the cream category that we use to make ice cream, semi-freddo, tart filling and pasta sauce?

Double cream sama dengan whipping cream. Jika resepi perlukan heavy cream, anda boleh gunakan samada double/whipping cream. Cream jenis ini boleh diputar kelajuan rendah hingga kental dan disapu pada kek (Fresh Cream Cakes).

Saya gemar menggunakan Non-dairy Whipping Cream kerana ia lebih mudah kental berbanding dengan whipping cream hasil tenusu.

Single cream serupa dengan light cream. Ia tidak boleh kental bila dipukul. Ia lebih pekat daripada susu cair dan lebih cair daripada double/whipping cream.

Gunakan double cream untuk ice-cream dan semi-freddo kerana ia akan melemakkan lagi sajian tersebut.

Manakala single cream untuk isian tat atau sos pasta. Namun ini terpulang pada individu. Jika anda mahukan sajian lebih lemak, boleh juga gunakan double cream.


I used to make semi freddo using the Malaysian Nestle canned cream, it didn抰 get thick or fluffy like it was supposed to, but the taste was still there... the only thing is that the cream has a texture of a normal batter( cair )...

Nestle Cream adalah reduced cream dan lebih merupakan single cream (tidak boleh kental jika diputar). Jadi, anda mesti menggunakan whipping/double cream. Selalunya, ia diputar hingga kental sebelum memasukkan ke dalam adunan (seperti membuat mousse).

Anda boleh ganti single/light cream dengan whipping/double/heavy cream tetapi anda tidak boleh ganti whipping cream dengan single cream.
Help me to differenciate ..thank u ..

err.. boley ke?? Mcm cair semacam ajee.. Boley kalu cargas lah... banyak whipping cream kat carre4 tuu.. RM14-15 satu pack tuu

whipping cream tak cair sangat. dia pekat sikit. banyak ke nak pakai? RM14-15 tu rasanya hak besar kan? 1 liter kalau tak silap.

betol tuu.. dlm 1 liter.. tak banyak tapi kalu nak makan banyak kena laa pakai banyak.. brape lama agak2 kalu bukak dia bleh tahan dlm fridge?? Tapi kalu dpt heavy cream best...pekat!!

Waaa,,saya baru buat cheesecake ikut resepi noorr ahad aritu.. masa byk lagi whipping cream..ingt nak buat seround lagi minggu ni...nampaknya..dah tak lehpakai le ye...ruginyaaaaa

lain kali beli le pek yang kecil. shida biasa beli pek yang 250ml tu. tapi sekarang ni buat cheese cake shida guna non-dairy cream je. yang tu beli 1 liter. bila dah buka transfer dlm bekas bertutup & simpan kat dlm freezer.

saya pergi kat BWY kat jalan taib tu.. takde nampak pulak pek kecik..tak perasaan kot. ..kalauk transfer dlm bekas lain nak simpan kat tempat freezer ke?

   Panjang bebenor explanation tu...orang macam saya  yang selalu order makan dan beli  pada tak tahu terus jadi tahu.sebelum saya terlupa tahniah dah jadi moderator kak.

O2 beli cream yang mana? non-dairy ke atau whipping cream anchor tu?

shida pernah simpan anchor tu dlm freezer. tapi tak elok. kat BWY ada le hak kecik. tapi bukan 250ml. 300++ ml. tak ingat. tapi murah je. RM3 lebih kut.

saya beli whipping cream anchor tu..tak perasaan sgt nak cepat..maklum la masuk situ ..rambang mata.. list ada..tapi dok merewang pk apa lagi yg boleh dibeli..

err.. non-dairy milk tuu susu UHT tuu kan?? susu penoh krim.. kalu panaskan lama2 dah jadik pekat tuu boleh jadik substitute utk whipping cream ke? (banyak pulak soklan)

BWY kat chowkit ada, puchong ada, taman tun pun ada.

shida guna non-dairy cream. bukan milk. non-dairy cream guna untuk buat hiasan continental cake. tak sama dengan non-dairy milk.

cream adalah krim. manakala milk pula adalah susu. non-dairy cream diperbuat daripada bahan bukan tenusu.
