This technology is possible with the full scale urban system with the innovative green technologies in it.
The Hydro net project is a city built with algae harvesting towers, fog catchers and geothermal energy mushrooms. This network will connect water with other distribution systems across the city.

Netherlands based architects MVRDV has come up with this great design of an incredible new city called Gwanggyo Power Center,located south of Seoul, South Korea. Several organic hill structurescombine to form this magnificent city which will be completelyself-sufficient and would support 77,000 residents.
The city includes everything (almost) …housing, offices, shops andeducational facilities. There is even an internal irrigation systemwhich stores extra water from the buildings and uses it to sustainthese green facades. As MVRDV states, “Thisdiverse program has different needs for phasing, positioning and size.To facilitate this all elements are designed as rings. By pushing theserings outwards, every part of the program receives a terrace foroutdoor life.” Construction will begin sometime after 2011.
