today's lesson
Vanity...the attachment to one's body...fed by the ego. The mind is tricked and says the body is important...to get attention..to feel complete...but alas in the end to nuture the mind and spirit together with the body is more peaceful.
in the end...aging comes the body deteriorates...no amount of botox or plastic surgery can bring the peace in the heart...to fill up the emptiness that so many of us feels sometimes. |
