The President of Palermo confirmed the thoughts he had expressed soon after the end of the match against Inter, attacking the referee for his poor performance.
Maurizio Zamparini, President of the Rosanero, is fuming following his side's 2-1 defeat against the Nerazzurri, which he believes was mainly due to bad refereeing which could actually be due to another Calciopoli system being used.
"It was one of the worst Palermo against a good Inter side. But what did not make me sleep was the old style refereeing. The system of 'calciopoli' is occurring again.
"Only De Santis paid for it. Instead, I thought that when we had to clean things up in a basket of apples, those bad ones would have been thrown away.
"With two other refereeing like the one of Rosetti, I think that I will leave football forever."
Palermo slipped to third place and are now 6 points adrift of Inter in Serie A.
