Germany and Argentina will hardly be strangers when they meet at Berlin's Olympiastadion on Friday for the first and most eagerly-awaited of the FIFA World Cup™ quarter-finals.

Of the starting line-ups that day only Juan Sorin, Esteban Cambiasso, Gabriel Heinze and Juan Riquelme are likely to start for Argentina in Berlin with Bastian Schweinsteiger, Per Mertesacker and Bernd Schneider surviving from Germany抯 starting X1.
