Activity unggun api di luar khemah..
ha..ni dia abe abe unta yg sungguh multi-tasking..
bawak unta...masak...nyanyi..pukoi gendang...pemandu pelancong..pemandu arah..penjinak unta..hiks..tukang bawak kami panjat dune memalam buta...wahaha
panjat dune malam-malam...
penat gilaaaaaaaaaa,macam betul2x daki gunung..tapi dah sampai atas,woahhhhhhhhhhhh....berbaloi baloi pemandangan...

yg couple dpt khemah they all sendirik....or famili ker..ikut lah..mmg they all arrange baguihh punya..

1. Berapa hari u di Morocco & how was your route starting Casablanca. U patah balik ke Fes kan.
OK,haha.You can't count on my route because I was there visiting friend too.But if you want to know the correct route so you don't waste your precious time esp if you have limited time ,here it is..
a. Casablanca(normally flight dr KK/changi turun sini) > go towards Fes > Desert > Marrakech > Casa
OR
b.Casa > Marrakech > Desert > Fes > Casa
**well of course you can do some day trip from Marrakech..or Fes ..etc...study the map well...
2. How much ground u belanja .... train/bas/taxi/riad/hotel (excluding souvenirs)
I didn't do much shopping ,but I bought things I like..shoes, lamp ( for house decorations..heheh!!!)
Train,depends where you are going, the train price are fixed and reliable.The price for 1st class and 2nd class are not much different,so I normally take 1st class where seat number are given,unlike 2nd class..
Example : Casa > Fes (1st class MAD 165 ,2nd class MAD110
From the International Airport to Casablanca Center -- 1st class 60/ 2nd class 40 Dirham
You can check the price here : http://www.oncf.ma/Pages/Accueil.aspx ( dia dlm French but you can just put your destination ,departure and arrival city ),you can see the schedule and price ..
As for taxi, I only use them when I was in Marrakech and Fes ..mostly from train station > Medina > train station
To be honest,I don't really keep track how much I spent for transportation(I have it somewhere in files...well..mana tah),but I just want to assure you,train/bus,the price are fix and you won't get cheated...So,check your route and just check the price on the net,many info ( example : Bus from Marrakech to Essaouira was ~MAD55 ..lebih kurang gituh..check the price at the station )

senang kata, you can plan your budget as they are many info on the net on pricing before you start your journey.
For cab,its good if you know roughly,so kalo kena tipu pon tak byk sgt ..hehehhe..example, dari fes train st to Blue gate ,it will cost you ~MAD10-14 ...so kalo org offer more than that,cari cab lain..(u can ask them use meter laso,but you know,not all will obligue)
As for Riad, mostly I spent MAD360-400 per night for 2 person ..for one person,maybe cheaper?
3. Boleh bagi nama, address riad u stay kat Fes & Marrakech
In Fes : Dar El Yasmin FES - very near to Blue gate,INSIDE the medina..superb hospitality ,helpful staff
BREAKFAST SUPERB !!!
In Marrakech ,we stayed at El-Kennaria ( go google..) superbbb small hotel and excellent staff!!!with loads of mint tea served..haha!
In medina too !!the infamos Djema El Fna..
*I coudl understand why most big group tour won't be put in Riad or Dar ..because mostly,Riad or Dar have limted room..they might have only 6 rooms..10 rooms...

Yes ! we went both.And Fes medina is A LOT bigger ...~9000 lorong!

we went ~3days 2 night ..1 nigh at the desert overnight,another night in a posh hotel on the mountain (x ingat nama..i kept the brouchere somewhere),in Les Gorges .....

hmm.. an 1 hour ++ camel ride each way..enjoy dinner cooked by Berber, climb the dune,unggun api(ada local music..ada org main drum..gendang..singing...dancingg)..watch star....this is the place you should forget about outside world,and just enjoy the moment..so asking question like "do we have wifi connection here?"is just funny.HAHAHHA!!!
suhu?..must be less than 10 degree I think..so so cold !!..maybe 3 degree?..ahahha....we slept in piles of blankets..
7. Bas fare ke Essaouira brepe. What u see on the way. What is in Essaouira
dalam 55 MAD tak silap ( each way ) ..we saw samll town, some scenery ...Essa is a fishing village....veryyy niceeee scenery..i could sit for hours ,looking at the rampart..sea there....u can eat fresh seafood there...

Normally Riad dah include your breakfast dalam harga bilik..
Meal..hmm..if u eat like locals, 7 - 30 MAD is enough... but if you go restaurant,it will cost you no less then 60MAD -100MAD

Hmm...tough choice..I went both ,and i like them both..

Bagi mereka yg ingin ke Morocco, sy list cost yg sy incurred. Pl note sy & isteri taklah seangkatan umur forumer bella, jadi ..... backpacking is out of the question. Sy purchased ground from local Moroccan TA, (KTI Voyages) di M'sia memalui Triways (bukan nak recommend ye). Ground cost pada bulan November 2012 (low season) ialah RM2,050 per person.
Included in the ground:
- Meet & greet on arrival & departure.
- Airport transfers to & fro hotel.
- Hotel 4* untuk 8 hari/7 malam with free wifi. Quick check-in. (You can opt for 5*)
- Makan/minum (B/L/D) 8 hari/7 malam. (1st day lunch, jika check-in pagi .... takde)
- Deluxe a/cond bus.
- Qualified multilingual guide.
- Local guide where applicable.
- All entrance fees.
- Porter for luggage (very efficient .. cepat bag sampai bilik).
What was NOT included:
1. Visa fees
bella bayar hanya RM77 while friend dia RM96 (buat sdn) & me RM100. Depend on the exchange rate it seems. Takes about 3 weeks to process but got ours within 10 days cause wife nak gi luar negeri sebelum ke Morocco. Applied visa thru TA ..... mereka tolong expedite visa kami.
2. Flight ticket & airport tax
End July 2012 Etihad quoted RM2,864 (all-in-rtd) tapi TA advise to wait for Matta fair early August. Kami tak gi pun ke Matta .... TA sdn yg follow-up ..... Etihad ada promo @ RM2,568 (all-in-rtd). Apa lagi, terus grab. During July 2012, Etihad tenggah promote KUL-CMN-KUL gila2 .... maybe that's why it's cheap kut. Skang ni, cheapest RM3,800 depending which month.
Etihad gives the best deal with 1 stop (Abu Dhabi) dgn transit time of only 2hrs 45min either way.
[Jika nak stop-over di AUX you need to top-up RM100 airport tax .... which we did. Courtesy Etihad bus (free, both ways) from Abu Dhabi airport to downtown Dubai (Bur Dubai) is only 80 mins].
3. Travel Insurance
RM100,000 coverage @ RM99
4. Tipping for guide/driver/asst driver
We were advised by M'sian TA bagi RM150 (for 3 of them).
Tour itinerary seperti saya dah list dalam post sebelum ni atau see here.
There was no requirement for us to take bus/taxi/train as all location visited, we were taken right to the door step or near by. Takde banyak berjalan except dalam Medina di Fes. Walking tour of more than 4.5 hrs. Tapi nasib baik, semua jalan menurun. Tak mengah pun.
Total Cost per person
Morocco ground package RM2,050
Flight ticket & airport tax 2,568 (add RM100 for stop-over @ AUX)
Visa 100
Travel Insurance 99
Tipping 150
Total : 4,967
Pocket money sy bawa RM3,000. Belanja lebih sket dari separuh. CC pun tak guna. Beli souviniers aje. So per person duit belanja RM800.

Sedikit facts/tips on Morocco.
Currency
Currency Morocco ialah Dirham (MAD).
[UAE pun dirham (AED) tapi MAD rendah value dari AED].
100MAD +/- 35~37MYR
Nak tukar Dirham di KL atau PJ memang takde.
Bawa EUR or USD tukar ke Dirham di Airport Casablanca.
Jgn tukar dlm airport tapi selepas kuar custom kat luar. Better rate.
Makanan
Makanan halal tiada masaalah.
Lunch/Dinner di restaurant atau hotel, bawa mineral water sendiri.
Walaupun disediakan makanan, air kena order (bayar sdn) even for full board.
Jgn segan, jgn malu .... mat salleh pun bawa mineral water sdn ... it's a norm.
Gelas utk minum memang ada.
Botol 1.5 liter = 5~7MAD compared to 20~25MAD di hotel.
Tempat Solat
Tempat solat tidak banyak seperti terdapat di M'sia.
Di restaurant, mereka akan beri kita ruang bersolat di bucu2 dewan makan.
Surau tiada di petrol station. Morocco tiada public R&R.
Since kita selalu on the move & tak duduk lebih 3 hari setempat, solat jamak aje.
Tour guide memang Muslim, jadi mereka paham keperluan kita bersolat.
Restroom
Tandas di restaurant/petrol stn is clean to very clean.
Takde lecak2, takde bau hancing.
Weather
Cuaca awal November dibandar2 dingin ... dlm belasan celsius gitu.
Yg tak tahan sejuk, pakai track-top sudah memadai.
Proposed Itinerary
Jika sudah TERminat nak gi Morocco seperti itinerary ini,
sy syorkan break your tour di Marrakech. Dari situ, gi Merzouga (desert).
Balik ke Marrakech dan kemudian ke Essaouira (coastal town) sebelum
pulang melalui Casablanca. You'll explore more of Morocco.
Jika ada lebih masa & fulus, boleh gi Agadir & Tangier.
Etihad Ticket Promotion
Untuk info, website POTO Travel ada Etihad promotion till 28.02.13 dgn harga
ticket KUL-CNM-KUL @ RM2,837 all-in-rtd with free 1 stop-over (AUX) valid
till 31.12.13. (Bukan nak promote ye!).
Jika nak jimat on ground, you can book direct dari the Moroccan TA . (Less 5%).
