know of the book, and seriously though, the book is over-rated. it is just another book in the genre. *sigh* once a book gets picked up by Harpo, everybody would hail it as god's greatest gift.
sorry, wasn't my intention to slag off the book. it is a good book indeed. but i like to quote a friend of mine regarding the book - "it's especially great to those who does not have a religion@belief in his/her life. this book mainly teaches what religion teaches us - how to go through our life well. To us Muslims especially, the book is unfortunately redundant"

Makluman tentang Bengkel Kepezi (Kelab Penulis Zaharah Nawawi) bagi 2008
SEJAK 1993 Kepezi mengasah bakat penulis melalui bengkel, hasilnya sudah kelihatan merata, hidup subur dalam percambahan yang sungguh sihat lagi membanggakan.
Selama beberapa tahun kebelakangan ini, sesuai dengan tugas dan matlamat DBP, Kepezi diundang oleh Bahagian Pengembangan Sastera Kebangsaan untuk melatih bakal penulis yang mempunyai harapan untuk maju melalui bengkel-bengkel tajaannya. Kepezi menumpukan sepenuh masa bagi memberi khidmat yang besar maknanya untuk negara.
Oleh desakan beberapa orang yang ingin benar jadi penulis, 2008 menyaksikan Kepezi kembali ke habitat asal, mengadakan bengkel untuk orang perseorangan selain meneruskan khidmat untuk pihak DBP atau mana-mana institusi yang berminat mengundang pengasasnya jadi pembimbing. Tetapi kali ini Kepezi diundang bekerjasama dengan sebuah institut pengajian tinggi awam pula.
Andai kata anda berminat menyertai bengkel Kepezi 2008, maklumat lanjut seperti berikut:
*Tarikh: 25 dan 26 Oktober 2008 (Sabtu dan Ahad) atau 1 dan 2 Nov. 2008
Tempat: UKM, Bangi
Penganjur: UKM + Kepezi
Waktu: dari 8.30 pagi (Pendaftaran) hingga 5.30 petang
Makan Minum: Disediakan
Peserta: Terbuka kepada semua peringkat umur
Pembimbing: Zaharah Nawawi dan Mawar Shafie
Jumlah peserta: antara 20-30 orang
Penginapan: Tidak disediakan.

Cerpen mesti sampai ke tangan pembimbing sebelum 22 Sept. 2008.
Peserta yang belum berdaya menghasilkan cerpen diizin menyertai bengkel ini, dan akan belajar menulis melalui cerpen peserta lain.
Peserta yang mendaftar awal akan diutamakan.
