sempena HAZE tebal yang kita alami sekarang,matz nak story sikit lah.kalau boleh you orang jangan buat travel kalau ada forest fire,yang macam dulu  kita experience in 1998.matz went to padang for holiday.dah sampai changi airport kapal terbang tak leh tak off....bad weather kat padang.berejam rejam ada kat changi airport..itu jam ada cerita eddie yang dia jadi hostage negiotator...just to pass time ,duduk and relax tengok tu movie.
dah sampai sana pulak,mak oii... quite bad lah weather.rasa asap macam benda terbakar.dah lah ada forest fire,kat sawah padi pun dia orang bakar itu padi stalk.tour guide bawak matz to  the tasek (sorry...can't remember the name)...ada cofee house at the edge of the lake.alamak...satu benda tak leh nampak....ten feet away itu kabus dah block the view.tak nampak apa2 ...boring sehhhhhh
lepas tu ada jumpa malay family,anak dia ada psle oral test....dia tersangkut kat padang,aeroplane tak leh take off.suppose to return on sunday...dah tuesday belum balik lagi.moral of the story....kalau children ada important exams try not to travel...you'll never know apa nak jadi on the other side

kalau you people don't want the hassle of carrying around keys to lock your bags kat hotel ,my advice is go and buy a good quality lock with number combination.in this way,you only carry  around your hotel room keys.get a hook if you are absent minded,just hook the keys to your pants or haversack.

and be careful of your passports and money,when i was in states one of my fellow travellers  bump into this group of strangers.they orang pun chit chat macam biasa.during meal time,dia realized they kena pickpocket.duit and passport all gone.kesian dia.

matz pulak,tengah makan gantung camera kat kerusi.after meal,matz pun jalan.bas dah jalan baru realized tertinggal camera.nasib baik restaurant staffs simpankan camera for matz to collect later.  be careful ya and jaga lah barang2 dengan baik.

tadi ternampak nama waikiki kat atas....teringat lah dulu matz ka waikiki beach for holiday.ni kira first trip out from singapore after transit kat narita airport.wooi best nya...sampai kat airport...ada hula girls kasi flowers tarok kat kepala and one garland round the neck.dah kasi flowers dia orang buat hula dance pulak.
check in hotel,lepas tu ka lunch.makan buffet good spread.banyak lah bunga frangipani and kalau tak salah nya hibiscus kat garden.surprise surprise, banyak nah burung merbok kat sana.
after lunch ka pearl harbour memorial site.naik ferry tengok kapal2 perang
american yang dah tengellam berpuloh tahun.still ada thin layer of oil yang masih terapong2 ada the surface.ternampak one japanese lady,dia throw garland of flowers kat kapal and she was crying,agak nya atok nya meninggal

malam ka polynesian night dinner.banyak lah dancer2 yang joget dia orang pakai macam grass skirt (tak tau apa nama nya).very sensous lah....tengok dia orang punya gelek.dia punya man pulak,macam warrior,badan tegap  macam yang kat wrestling.after their dance perfomance,dia orang tarik orang from each table for join in session.matz kena tarik pulak.naik stage lagu start,matz pun joget hula.memorable lah itu night....dancer nya pulak ...punya lah jambu.kalau dia nak matz ,matz bakar passport tak nak balik singapore.
next day kat waikiki....banyak lah yang in bikini.matz tak mandi laut,leceh lah nanti nak fly out with wet clothes in luggage.
kalau in hawaii jangan lupa ka international market (tak ingat exact nama),sini ada  banyak souvenirs shops.teringat ada elvis presley punya joint. ni tempat dia macam lau pa sat kat shenton way,only thing is this place is very very big.

AirAsia denies running Senai bus service
Budget airline said it had accepted independent bus operator's offer, and wasn't aware permits not obtained

BUDGET carrier AirAsia yesterday denied it was providing a bus service to ferry its passengers between Singapore and Senai Airport in Johor. An independent company is doing so, it said.



The airline also insisted it was not aware that the operators of the service do not have the necessary permits to run it.



One of the buses impounded by the LTA on Tuesday is registered in Malaysia, while the other is Singapore-registered and owned by Luxury Coach Service. -- ONG CHIN KAI




Mr Tony Fernandes, chief executive of the Malaysian low-cost airline, said that the carrier had been approached by a Malaysian bus operator offering to provide the ser- vice.

AirAsia accepted its proposal and decided that as a service to its customers, it would not charge for the bus rides, which it has been advertising on its website until recently.

'We relied on the representatives of the bus company that all permits and insurance were in order and all necessary requirements fulfilled,' he said.

It is not clear whether AirAsia had asked to see the permits and why the airline's suspicions were not raised by the bus company's offer, as an earlier application to operate a bus link between Singapore and Senai was turned down by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) only in December.

AirAsia had tried for almost a year before that to get the LTA to approve a direct link between Changi Airport and Senai, which would have cut travel time for passengers from about two hours to one.

The unlicensed bus service started on Monday; on Tuesday, at about 5pm, LTA's enforcement officers impounded two buses at Lavender MRT station.

One was a Singapore vehicle registered to Luxury Coach Service, which was about to leave for Senai with about 20 passengers on board. The second was Malaysian-registered and had just arrived from Senai.

The Straits Times understands that the passengers on the Singapore bus ended up taking taxis to Senai.

Mr Fernandes said in a statement: 'We're still unclear why the bus was stopped and we hope the authorities will give a satisfactory reply.'

Meanwhile, the LTA has interviewed the drivers and owners of both buses and will decide later what action it will take against them, if any.

A spokesman said that both buses are authorised to carry tourists between Singapore and Malaysia. However, their licences do not allow them to operate scheduled services between Lavender MRT station and Senai.

The managing director of Luxury Coach Service, Mr Vincent Lee, 52, said he was shocked when he found out his bus had been impounded.

He claimed that the driver had not informed him he had entered into a private agreement with the Malaysian bus operator.

Mr Lee, who spent the morning at the LTA office in Sin Ming Road where his 45-seater bus is parked, said: 'Now, I can't get my bus back until the investigations are over. Every day it's parked I lose about $400.'

The company operates a fleet of 44 buses, which runs between Singapore and Malaysia.

The drivers of the two impounded buses and the boss of the Malaysian bus company could not be contacted.

Betul tu Matz.  That's why bila Chic travel mesti bawak my Samsonite cargo bag. Dah biasa lah. Bila Chic keluar, passport and other important documents Chic masuk kan dalam hotel safe. Yang lain Chic masukkan dalam cargo bag and lock. Kalau takder hotel safe, semua Chic masukkan dalam cargo bag.  So far Alhamdulillah tak pernah ada yang hilang.

Yang pasal pickpockets tu memang you really have to watch out. Especially when in Spain and Italy. Diorang macam ada syndicate la.  Especially the ones that look like gypsies.  Try not to chat them up.  Apparently diorang ni pakai ilmu memukau. Itu yang selalu nya orang tak sedar.  Alih2 balik hotel everything's gone....

chic....kencang you,bag samsonite.expensive,harga berapa,if you don't mind telling us.matz bot kat mustafa around $70 so far so good...hard plastic casing....lasak jugak lah.....dah round half the world with matz.itu hari matz jalan kat marina,ada this shop jual samsonite (tak ingat samsonite or delsey)punya luggage.barang2 nya semua mahal,tapi you sare assured of quality.

matz always bring a swiss army knife,just in case nak pakai.yang matz ka padang,ada this old lady jual durian belanda.3 medium size,matz pay about $2.00.the fruit dah masak,lembut dia punya isi.best seh....slurppppppp

and don't forget bawak,water bottle yang 1.5 litre punya.isikan ayer,just to do some washing of knife and hands.

London... is a nice place.... very beautiful architectural building, especially around Westminister area where Big Ben and The London Eye is at.... kebetulan masa I kesana, tengah celebration 50 years Queen Elizabeth menjadi ketua England....  called Queen Jubilee... London tengah sesak betul...

Barangan memang mahal due to currency exchange..... accomodation pun mahal oooiittt.... kami ambil apartment daerah Knaresborough Place which is kira in main London itself tu pasal mahal abt 185 pound pernte, about 4 or 5 station away from the Buckingham Palace.  ada 2 bilik  and sofa boleh buka jadi katil gak, with kitchen, can fit 6 people laaa.
Kita beli main food supply such as eggs, bread, maggie, coffee and soda and store kat kitchen, sooo.. save sikit boleh masak untuk sarapan or apa2 kan.
makanan paling murah is if you buy Indian pack food or sandwhich from the deli.... dekat where we stay tu quite convenient... ada banyak tempat makan, supermarket and etc... good area laaaa.... Underground pun 5 mins walk ajer...
kalau nak fine dining... huhhhh jgn harap laaaa. mahal giler..... a meal of Fish & chips is abot 10 pounds + air + tax and etc... sekali duduk boleh belanja nak dekat 15 punds sorang... tu pun kat restaurant yg kira 2star ajer.....

Moving around naik Underground (kira MRT la) convenient juga... make sure beli ticket 1 or 2 day Underground Train ticket.. lebih murah.. kira macam stored card laaa.... and boleh buat pakai naik public bas dia..... kalau hujung minggu, they have discount lagi.. sooo.. move around take Underground. Murah dan cepat. naik teksi.. boleh bankrupt!

kami tak berbelanja at the stores except "Argos".. tapi pergi ke markets and flea markets dia org.... macam2 boleh beli... I beli baju 2pc suit.. baru 25pounds... compared ngan 60 to 120 pounds at the shopping mall....... leather goods, coats, antiques... semua beli kat markets yg ada banyak di sekeliling london... I cuma tak dapat pergi their carboot market ajer.. have you heard of them?

We also went to visit alot of places like Madam Trusard, London Dungeon, also naik London Eye.. best betul tengok keindahan London dari atas London Eye tuuuu.... sooo breathtaking! Stonage and Bath... you mustn't miss Bath.... keadaan macam building kat Rome.... cantikkkkkk sekali.....

kami ke Stonage and Bath naik the Tour BUs .. jgn ambil dari Hotel.. mahal.. just go to the counter and get it.... kalau mat nak pergi let me know and I'll tell you exactly where to get it from.....

blood thanks for your report......i got cousins in london and manchester.nak pergi think of the exchange rata...ada demam sikit.dia orang selalu jugak offer matz to come over,matz haven't seen them in ages, ada segan sikit lah.



ok i pun trafer post kat sini.crank kat london, dia orang racist tak?.my cousin went with his friends kat gold coast ,they were accousted by this group of young guys.they  were taunting them ...macam nak fight gitu.so far matz travel.alhamdulilah lah.matz  always low profile.if you are loud and disrespectful to the locals nanti jadi hal tak best lah.i'm on holiday to see sights and not to quarrel.matz is always humble,orang tengok pun kesian.

nice apartment,dekat kat laut.alot of asian shops around,bot eggs and roti for breakfast.save duit sikit.ada small kitchen for your cooking.ada malay restaurant kat sana,quite expensive lah.matz normally makan tak cerewet...no need for expensive meal,what is important is seeing new places.surrounding area is very touristy,alot of shopping places.fast food is no problem too.

haah... I pun dulu minat MAn U... tapi masa gi London tu, tak sempat nak ke Manchester and visit Wimbeldon..... maybe planning to go again this year or next... tengok kewangan mantap ke tak..

my aunt taking her Masters there .. sooo. before dia balik next year... must make another trip there laaaa....

When we're moving around dlm Underground, Buses and etc... the whites and the non-whites (incl Chinese, India, Blacks, Malay) ramai gak.... dah tak rasa macam London.. and the shoppers are very nice and polite and helpful too. So.. on the whole, I don't think they are racist at all....

baru tengoki kumar kat vasanthan central,dia ada kat bali.dah ada alot of travel show,but i still find them interesting.next week kumar will be in ubud.

yesterday at 4 pm ada travel show lagi.the guy's name is michael palin.dia pun round the world ,tak tau kenapa lah...travel programmes ares my daily staple for the soul....so interesting seeing new places....even though it's on tv.
at 6 pm on channel 16 pulak...ada anthony bourdaine....dia round the world makan exotic food.this week dia kat jepun makan fugu....salah makan masok alam kubur.every year 10 people die eating fugu,and yet people take the risk eating it.you offer me money to eat pun i tak  mau.

mutu...ko try travel yang dekat2 punya.kalau low season, price tak mahal.ko try kat bali,bangkok...pasti enjoyable punya.i think $650 is enough for short trip.ko try kat hotel yang kasi free breakfast...jadi you spend only on lunch and dinner.try to cut cost.for matz...no need for expensive food...asal clean aja.
mutu,i went with my friends for breakfast kat hotel,dia orang took butter and jam yang in small packet,dia orang simpan for use in the next couple of days.ko try kat cherating,dulu2 sekali matz pergi very cheap lah...RM10 per person including breakfast and dinner,stayes in small hut.ni lagi,matz baca magazine follow the instruction.i think spend less than $350

crank... jepun memang expensive,asalkan you tak makan kat restaurant,you should be ok.
my cousin dia single lagi,dia stayed kat tokyo spend $45 a night on accomodation.dia book room on the internet.very cheap lah.kat papers matz saw this advert,japan on north west only $680 plus 2 nights.you try to book into this not so expensive joint,jadi boleh stay longer.matz kalau dah gini kan,terpaksa lah makan fast food.
matz when kat tokyo disneyland,saw them eating curry rice....matz tengok tak appetising terus.the gravy macam starchy,colour nya pulak tak shiok lah.
tapi kalau kat japan,ko must try dia orang punya pasteries.puuuuuh....punya lah sedap.ko carik dia punya cream puff...tak bedek ko try ok,tak makan rugi.
matz remember when in japan,dia orang ada pudding in a cup.brand nya is morigawa (tak ingat nama,something like that lah) very nice,matz went to japanese super market in singapore ,for 3 cups price is around $5.00 something.
