Next time you gi ke Oriental shop, why dont you cari Vietnamese Steam Bun Cake punya tepong. Tepong khas utk buat pau ni. My friend si Cindy, owner kedai cina tu kata, dia buat pau cantik gebu jadinye. Snowy white. I ingat I pernah paste hok ni dlm board ovc.

I sendiri tak pernah try pun. Tepong tu masih ada dlm pantry. Malas nak cuba. Tapi teringin tul makan bbq chicken pau yg mcm kat dimsum di hilton kl tu. Yummy....

comelnya pau licin elok, camana nak buat nak kasi licin segala aturan dah ikut jadi gitu gak. Berapa lama korang ambik masa nak bentukkan satu2 pau...nak kena gentel sampai licin ke?

akceli kan eena tgh mencari recipe pau yg selalu org2 juai kat kg2 tu.....x berderai gtu. xla texture dia cam pau ahmad ke pau tg malim ke....yg biase org2 kg buat juai guna inti kelapa tu.....kalu sesapa ade tlg kasi eena ekhhh. sbb nye eena dah try recipe kak speed.....yani my resipi tp x secocok ngan tekak tuan umah. dia cakap nak pau cam kat kg2 tu alamakkkkk.....any  idea X?

eena....saya guna resepi kak liza...

ini saya pastekan resepi nya....

bahan.
500 gm tepung pau atau tepung gandum
1/2 s/k baking powder
1/2 s/k garam
1 s/b gula
2 s/k yeart mauripan
2 s/b shorterning
250 gm air suam

Cara
1. Gaul rata semua bahan kecuali air.
2. Masukkan air sedikit-sedikit sehingga habis.
3. Uli sehingga licin[tak lekat ditangan]
4. Tutupkan dgn kain lembab dan biarkan naik 2X ganda.
5. Tumbukkan adunan dan bahagikan adunan menjadi ketulan kecil.
6. Bulatkan dan lmasukkan inti mengikut kesukaan sendiri [inti ayam/kacang merah/kaya/kelapa/daging].
7. Lapikkan adunan diatas keratan daun pisang atau kertas.
8. Rehatkan adunan sehingga naik lagi.
9. Panaskan kukusan.
10. Masukkan adunan dan masakkan selama 10 minit.
11. Buka tudung dengan perlahan supaya air wap tidak menimpa adunan pau.
12. Siap untuk dimakan

tuk inti lak...saya minta mak ajarkan cara membuatnya....

*rebus kacang merah sampai empuk dan kering air...
*tutup api, masukkan gula dan tumbuk sampai kacang dan gula hancur
