semlm sampai klcc kul 12 tgh mlm tu pun dah ada beberapa org dah line-up. tapi kesian kat kita org dah beratur penat2..dekat kul 3 lebih tu guard suruh gi tunggu kat ground floor sebab boss kinokuniya tak bagi sapa2 beratur dekat 'official line' selagi belum kul 5 pagi. Dah penat2 tunggu kat bawah...sapa ntah ngelat dia org ikut parking lot masuk kat line up ...guard tu tak marah lak..bila kita org nak masuk sebab dah kul 5pagi tak bagi...benci benci benci.
Balik2 mula2 nak abis kan baca..tapi tak larat terus tido dulu...dah petang2 baru start baca...tgh malam baru abis itu pun berhenti kejap sebab ada AF3.
uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...tak sangka...kesian kat harry. |

Next and final book they will need to find a new DADA teacher for sure. |

I arrived at Kinokuniya bout 6.30am. Never realized it's so much fun waking up early and drove in city centre at wee morning. We were very excited. My heart cant stop beating heart. I did wish to get the first 6 people to get the free book, but it was hopeless.
The moment I arrived at the top floor, the queue was so long. I was instructed to line up at the food court!. Imagine the long queue. Some came wearing pyjammas. Some even brough pillow along. I guess they slept there last night. We waited patiently. As we heard the door opened, all started to stand up and queue up properly. Few minutes later, I got my wand (free given by Kinokuniya) and a book voucher worth RM25. I can't believe seeing so many people rushing in and grabbing copies of HP's latest book either the adult cover version or children cover version. Never seen so much books in a bookstore like this. I mean, HP books are everywhere.
I pre-ordered an adult cover version but later changed to children version to match with all my 5 previous books. Its thickness about the same as the 5th book. I queued up, heard some arguments bout latecomers who didn't get the wand and voucher. some kids were playing with the wand. Kinokuniya staff was quite panic, I guess. To see so many turned up at very early morning. The wand and vouchers were given to everyone. Even a family of five who only purchase one book also get 5 wands. No wonder it sold out really fast. Luckily I managed to get one for myself.
After paid for the balance, we rushed to Mid Valley. I expected there should be some nice events in conjunction with HP's new book. But it was so quiet and calm. Not like Kinokuniya. Nothing fun except they gaveaway paperbag (really nice, I wished I could have one) and breakfast. Kinokuniya also didn't have any program besides the wand and voucher giveaway.
we left the place and drive to Borders. I was so excited, I wanted to see the celebration at every bookstore I can reached in KL. It was quiet as well. But I really salute their innitiative to provide robes and Harry Potter's costumes to their staff. So, you can see their staff wearing robes and HP look-a-like costumes all over the place. Had breakfast at Starbucks and headed home. Really tired and exhausted but fun.
I still haven't even completed reading the first chapter. Wanted to read it slowly to enjoyed every single word in the book :cak: |

sherrina: kira u ni sampai lambat gak. kalau sampai awal mesti dah terjumpa nya. btw: adik kembar hermione yg komen kat fotopages u tu..it's not me. Lah tak abis baca ke.....I finished it yesterday..kul 4 pagi. Thn ni baca lambar sikit. Masa OoP dulu kul 3 pagi dah abis.
anyway kalau nak tahu apapengalam tunggu dr kul 12tgh mlm..just check my website. baru jer update. |

aku sampai dalam pkl 5.30 pagi...ingat nak jadi la 6 org pertama...tapi tak dapat sebab sampai2...dah ada org tunggu....itupun dah agak ramai sebab barisan dah sampai kat klinik tu....
by seven, barisan dah mula gerak....semakin tak sabar nak dapatkan HP6....
nanti aku paste gambo....tapi tak banyak la.... |

Hi everyone!!
Ni nak cerita pasal beratur beli buku ni. I keluar lepas subuh, so memang takde chance la nak dpt buku free kat kino kan..waktu i sampai tu(dlm 6.40 am) org dah beratur sampai ke food court tu, so i said forget it..i pergi kat times..ada 2-3 org je..so i jadi org ke 3..huuhuuhuhuh..bestnye..7.05am i dah keluar dr klcc.
times bg 10% diskaun, plus HP paper bag, certificate of purchase, senq voucher(RM25), tote bag times, pastu ada lucky draw, i dpt 15% voucher..itu je la kot..
i start baca pukul 12 camtu, pastu habis dlm pukul 6 (with lunch break in between).
so ada sesapa nak bincang pasal buku ni tak?

wow..you lagik hype dari sherrina. siap tido kat KLCC lagik. yupp...sherrina terlambat tapi mlm tu nak tido lena pun susah. asik teringat2...yelah, first time in whole life nak experience mende yg camnie. cuma tak best le celebration kat malaysia nie. beratur panjang2, berebut buku, bayar dan balik. Takde event2 susulan. kat borders pon takde, kat MPH pun takde. tak happening cam oversea.

animagus : yup times memang tak ramai org sebab semua berebut ke kino. Aku gi kino ni pun sebab nak cari buku scholastic tapi hampeh sebab dia org jual semua bloomsburry. tp nak baca punya pasla..beli lah jugak. Kalau nak discuss, just gi kat my blog.
Ala nama jer dtg awal tp tak dpt gak yg free book tu sebab bila kita org dah tunggu kat atas..guard halau kita org suruh tunggu kat ground floor..kul 5 baru leh naik balik..bila nak naik balik org dah ramai..so berlari x ingat nya...sampai hari ni sakit kaki.

got my HP6 kat borders...ok lah dpt mug, book voucher and voucher from Debenhams....spent the weekend habiskan baca buku tuh.....sedeyyy lahh ending dia...now can't wait for the 7th book |
